I think you know I'm talking about the regular 3 3/4" figures when I say "MU line". I don't need to specify that the two giant 1-foot tall figures that are bundled with non-ball jointed regular figures don't count.
But okay, I'll restate it: the 98% of toys that make up the MU line and the 100% of them that are 3 3/4" scale do not have ball joints. :P Quote:
Target has exclusive dibs on that specific version, and that figure is one of the primary attractions to the Target 2 packs.
Not to mention we don't know anything about the release of this. For all we know, this is also a Target exclusive. Hasbro has said there will be more retailer-exclusive figures later in the year. Last edited by ZeoVGM; 06-02-2010 at 01:42 PM.. |

I thought the same thing and was going to mention that but I figured it was just because these are prototypes.

Just echoing everyone else's thoughts...this would be a great buy for people that are starting their collections.

Agreed, one they would fit in with my Joes and Marvel, two the DCUC figs are just getting more and more expensive and I have a very limited budget.

We don't know any details of their contract that says Hasbro can never sell one of those figures through another store months later. Not to mention we don't know anything about the release of this. For all we know, this is also a Target exclusive. Hasbro has said there will be more retailer-exclusive figures later in the year. The primary draw for those Target exclusive 2 packs aren't the repainted Iron Man, Spiderman, Green Goblin and other guys you can get in the single carded line but the figures with new parts like Wolverine, Punisher and Black Panther. I highly doubt that Wolverine is going to be used again unless it is at Target. If we get ANY Tiger Stripe Wolverine for the MU line later on for mass market I think it will use a shorter buck with new parts.

WOW, I'm not going to be bidding on that auction but it's good to know that we'll be getting a proper Storm figure...I'm not a fan of the mohawk.

Yeah this new Storm is way better. Just cross your fingers the quality control is good, I hope it is the same factory that pumps out the single carded figures; the Comic Packs are of lower quality in my experience.

Hopefully the final will have black feet, instead of the barefoot look this proto has.

BTW remember Thanos is supposed to come with a removable infinity gauntlet (Source: May Q and A) I kinda hope the Antman "figure" is an indication of an full size Antman figure, not just an accessory to Yellowjacket. |
