The sellers from IN and IL must be scalper employees. I seriously have canvased a 50 mile radius in my area for 2 weeks as I am close to the IL border in Indiana and wave 10 has not turned up on the pegs.

Well, lets say the figures had been in a store you are checking but you can't find them, wouldn't you at least be able to find the price/label on the pegs/hooks where they are suppose to be displayed?

[QUOTE=Korben;31570]Well, lets say the figures had been in a store you are checking but you can't find them, wouldn't you at least be able to find the price/label on the pegs/hooks where they are suppose to be displayed?[/QUOTE Well, the store closest to me has had an empty space with labeled pegs for DCUC for 2 months now. Does that mean they got them in 2 months ago. I doubt it. Everywhere else it is either the same thing empty space with pegs or the same old Big Barda, Captain Cold, and Cyborg figures that have warming the shelves. I can even see if an employee not familiar with the product would mistakenly say that these have not arrived here. I really think that these are being grabbed right off the trucks.

I agree with u Jimster 2010 and I'm willing to bet money over 70 percent of the people who are selling these on ebay are walmart employees!

That stinks, leave it to us angry collectors to bitch to Walmart, yelling at them for their incompetenece, forcing us to shell out hundreds of dollars for the Wave 5 set, and then the employees turn around and scalp/sell them on ebay.
Any luck with the public enemies wave at Target yet? |

eBay Item #220488167325. This is the first seller located in Southern California I found but I can't figure out his specific location.

I tried calling the Wal - Mart customer service hotline to see if I could some help with locating these and I trapped in a menu loop you through the optioms to talk to someone and it leads right back to the main menu.

Ah..fond memories. A Wal-Mart Exclusive Wave that never arrives. Since they had Wave 5 and now 10, the next debacle of an idea should be 15....if the line lasts that long. Don't get me wrong or bash me for this. I LOVE this line and I am a collector of these figures but with the failed appearences, the price hike, and the 'shortage' on the production run, how can they keep this up until we all just wisen up and say 'Thanks but not anymore'.

I agree 100% between the low production #'s of the last 3 waves as well the employees who grab them off the truck before they see the light of the sales floor, I ready to close the book on this line.

Wal-Mart SUCKZBALLZ. OK, got that out of the way.
If it were just a store exclusive line then no big deal, it would just require a bit more effort to get them. But being that there are obvious shortages (FU! Mattel) then Yes I give up, at least for the meanwhile. NO. We do not tolerate or condone any type of harassment, either to members or other sites. Don't even suggest it, even if you are joking. - Toyark Staff Last edited by trebleshot; 10-02-2009 at 10:03 PM.. |

Low production sure. The aspect that gets me the most was the uneven distribution of this wave. Had Wal - Mart plotted the shipping out different then I think a lot more collectors who did not see wave 5 would have been a little more happier with this one.

If you truly have a problem with a company, then contacting that company's Customer Service department in a civil manner is the best way to ensure that your grievances/complaints are heard. Outright hate mail will most likely be ignored and could potentially bring about legal action, if severe enough.
Also, Mattel has absolutely nothing to do with Wal-Mart's distribution issues. If the toys are out, that means Mattel shipped the product to Wal-Mart. Mattel's responsibility ends when they have fulfilled the sales orders. From that point on, it's up to Wal-Mart to get it on the shelf at the local retail level.

eh i really blame both, mattel for giving into an exclusive, regardless if its with the retai l giant, but also WM....i saw how they handled al of their other DCUCs and it SUCKED other than wave 7 of course which is killing everything...

I read somewhere this is the end of the Walmart exclusives for DCUC. The Power Girl figure is supposed to be in the World's Greatest Heroes assortments later on so she won't be exclusive anymore so maybe the others will as well.

I hope ur right about no walmart exclusives. Walmart dosnt deserve to have exclusives they can't tell their ass end from their front end half the time and if what ur reading is true I would be looking around making sure the worlds not going to end. I've still not found wave 10 its worse than wave 5 distribution!

I believe the World's Greatest Superheoroes is the name of the Mego reissues and have nothing to do with DCUC. So the Powergirl would be a completely different figure.

No, he just got the name wrong. Powergirl is getting a reissue in a future wave. Like Batman, GL, and Flash before.
If anyone could help me out getting Wave 10 Joker, I would be eternally grateful. |

On another forum a guy found wave 10 at College Station WM. He said there were two case and sold out. I still have not seen any in North Dallas (Plano).
