The only thing I don't like right now is the use of single knee joints. Ball joints are cool, but I prefer the double jointed knees. Compare a figure like wave 1 Iron Man to Wolverine, and Wolvy's got superior leg articulation. Not to mention the right knee swivel is loose on my Iron Man.
I love the paint finish on Iron Man, it looks great. Wish the head sculpt was smoother so it didn't look like he was frowning. Otherwise these are great figures and they are superior to Superhero Showdown. |

Wolverine Origins figures are absolutely awesome articulation-wise, anyone know why they are compared to the regular line? I had to pry myself away from the Maverick figure they had... I wanted it so bad. Last edited by scarecrow; 02-26-2009 at 12:15 AM.. |

Well, one of the Wolverine figures isn't awesome articulation wise. lol Deadpool ain't that great. His area where the legs meat the torso looks based on Marvel Legends design rather than the way Silver Wolverine's is. Also, Deadpool doesn't have any foot articulation...can't twist at the ankles, can't bend at the ankles, nothing!
Other than that, he is great. Oh, not really articulation issue, but he can't hold his sword with his left hand. It just sits in there....just waiting to fall out. |

my deadpool's leg was twisted a little (looked like her had a broken leg), lucky I slowy bent it back to where it belonged stuck it in a vise to keep it there took it out last night and the figure is perfect now.

It will be. The W&XM line is made with the younger set in mind. It's based on a cartoon.

The others from the line are good so far, colossus is ok, was surprised by the spring loaded arms. had a hard time to get the "beam" in his hand. Waiting on my second magneto to open. Will properly trade out the w & xm figures as they make regular version thru universe. |

He does have foot articulation, can swivel and bend, but there isn't much room to bend he ankle/foot.
Some fans actually prefer the legs that way, at this point, I'm undecided. I'm starting to prefer the bicep swivel/elbow hinge combo over the elbow ball joint. The elbow ball joints don't have as much range of motion for the elbow compared to the hinge/bicep swivel. Yeah, I guess to each their own. I prefer the Joe crotches.....that just sounds so wrong. |

Mine moves at the ankles just fine.. And I love the Marvel Legends crotches so this figure is right up my alley. The Joe Crotches comment sounds wrong on many levels, but the first thing that came to mind was Snake Eyes' crotch for the first 4 or so waves.

Iceman: You're right about him. Colossus: The arms surprised me too, though I got him into a nice pose, so it's all good. Avalanche: My favorite of the three. He just looks cool with those blast accessories. I didn't see Magneto or Beast, which I believe completes wave 1. I also didn't see Nightcrawler or Wolverine in his X-Force costume, but those are wave 2, right? |

The x-force and night crawler are wave 2 (april release I believe)
Magneto is ok, the chain weapon can either be inserted into his right hand or he can hold it in is left hand. I decided to pass on opening avalanche ,wasn't a big fan of his "squatting poss" like like he needed a toliet under him : ) |

WO figs are already out in some places. Stores that do the big drop this Sunday will most likely have both lines available.
Not liking the plastic t-bar on Iron Man, I swapped in a 25A Duke metal t-bar. |

Hasbro is our friend! This was confirmed when I called customer service about extremely loose legs on a figure, and they are mailing me a prepaid envelope to mail all parts of the figure and package back to them. This is so they can send me one that is perfect. Hasbro does have the consumer in mind, just call the customer service line! They were very nice also, a women named Cindy was very helpful and nice in every way.

i don't understand why target or walmart would have the figs and not put them on the shelves.
i can understand honoring the street date, but don't they realize that by waiting to put these figures out on a random empty peg in their aisle, they're missing out on all of us super-hyper-gotta-have-it-first fanboys? By the time they do put figures out, we'll have all gotten everything we need from tru, and they'll be stuck with more pegwarmers. |

just put the g*&^d&^ cases in the middle of the floor for crying out loud! we'll buy what we want and find room for the rest on the shelves. it could be the do it yourself toy department.

Yeah, this is getting ridiculous. I realize that the area I live in is one of the last to get things BUT there has been one case of MU on the pegs at our Kmart{they since haven't put anything out} as well as one case of the Xmen Animated and Wolverine figures at our Walmart{again nothing else put out after these of course sold out}. The Target here says they don't even know when they'll be getting them{lie or truth you decide}. As far as TRU, just be glad you have one, they closed ours down 2 months ago. I've been a huge Former collector for years and with their prices going up I was fired up to hear Marvel was starting new lines and all the same scale and 3 3/4 scale which is my fav. and now can't even get the figures.
