I travel to wrestling signings and conventions as I am an Old School fan, especially of The Four Horsemen.
At a recent signing, I got to spend some time with JJ and asked him about why we haven't gotten a JJ figure yet. He explained that there were a few wrestlers himself and Mach man Randy Savage included, that were blacklisted by Vince & the WWE. He's hoping that Mattel can use some weight to get the thumbs up being they are taking the line from Jakks. I've always thought it was Savage and JJ that didn't want to sign but it is actually the opposite. he said it would be awesome to have a Four Horsemen set which I wholeheartedly agree with.

For some reason Vince McMahon has a vendetta against Macho Man which is a shame because I'd really like to get a classics Savage. Shoot he even shot down a proposed Macho Man DVD.

It sucks and supposedly has to do with something relating to he and Stephanie, but considering what he stoops to for rating it makes no sense.
I think Vince is a tasteless, yet innovative entertainer. Notice I did not say wrestler.

I'd love to see a classic horsemen set. Flair says the best horsemen were himself, Arn, Tully and Berry. Where I am far from a Lex fan I did like him as a horseman but that was only because he had three of the greatest EVER to hold him up so he wouldn't look so bad. OA was good but by the time the horsemen were in full swing he was almost ready to get out and spend time with his kids.

Well when Ole was a horsman he was getting older, wanting to spend more time with his kids. Then you look at Ric, Arn and Tully who wanted to party and have as much fun they could.... you know, live the life. When they added Berry they were all 4 on the same page so I guess that's why Ric considers them the best. As far as top to bottom talent I'd say that was the best combination. Sure there were some better wrestlers who were horsemen but they couldn't talk like these 4.

I hate Ole, he's a bitter old man. I just felt I needed to say that.
