Good call. It definitely looks like the BB suit, not TDK.

I want to see NINJA suit Bruce Wayne when he was training with Ducard/Ras. THAT was an awesome costume.

Never been a huge fan of movie figures simply because they are not made like the comic figures. But this sure takes the cake! looks good but I would also like to see some more pics of this figure. I am awed that Revoltech is jumping in with this and the Aliens figures, They have an awesome line of figures so far and if they get Marvel or more DC licensing, ooof! watch out!!!!

Picked up a copy of Dengeki Hobby today and there were some shots of this figure in it. First I'd seen it and man, I lost my shit. I even called my wife over just to show it to her. This looks absolutely fantastic, minus the unmasked head, which can just stay in the box as far as I'm concerned.
If I read the magazine correctly, it will be released on July 1st. The cape is kind of a mixed bag. It's divided into three sections that are connected by what looks like a ball joint. When folded up, it looks great, but when splayed out, it begins to get gaps between the sections. Still, for the most part, it's pretty good. Quite excited about this guy. He's going to be my first Revoltech figure. |

Sorry for the crapiness of the pics, I had to use my iPhone to take a picture of the magazine's pictures.
Anyway, here's an idea of what the Revoltech Bats will look like. The unmasked head is still as crappy as the initial pictures made it out to be, but the rest of the figure looks fantastic. |

He looks fantastic. The cape is still iffy to me, but it looks like if you fold it up it looks fine. I can understand why they needed to make the cape the way it is in order to pull off the dynamic Revoltech poses the toy line is known for. Overall, this thing looks kick ass. I've been waiting for Kaiyodo to take a shot at some traditional DC and Marvel properties, so I'm pleased to see this. Would still like to see a comic accurate one though.
I am already very, very pleased with the Alien figure, so I can't wait to get my grubby hands on Bats. I don't really care about how the Bruce head looks, considering I will probably never use it. If they are going to do Bruce, I'd rather him in his ninja training suit, or in a business suit/tux.

This really looks like the Batman Begins version to me.
Maybe Revoltech is trying to jump on TDK bandwagon? |

I am pissing myself with excitement over this. Not even hell itself will prevent me from getting this glorious piece of plastic.

I don't know... I already have two really nice batman toys. I have the Bandai Movie Realization with the batpod and the Hot Toys TDK DX. Neither of these are "super" posable although they both carry some nice poses, but I love toys that are super posable like revoltechs.
This is the first time I've seen a revoltech that doesn't immediately impress me though. Normally the joints on revoltechs don't bother me and I like that revoltech has it's own style, but these joints seem very out of place. Usually the joints work in conjunction with the design of revoltechs so that there is a flow to them resulting in poses looking natural and overall just badass. Some of the poses here really look unnatural though, and this is the first time I feel like the revoltech joints are just taking too much away from the figure. Quite a disappointment because I always wanted to see a batman revoltech. The bruce wayne head mold doesn't look horrible, what looks horrible is the paint applications IMO. Is this the first time Revoltech has tried to mold a face that is not drawn in an anime style? I think this may be the problem, and it doesn't bode well for future releases like two-face, scarecrow, or the joker. *edit* This is definitely the Batman Begins suit, which DOES appear in TDK at the very beginning. So technically it still falls within the realm of the movie, but its all marketing. TDK was much bigger than BB and TDK is the newer of the two. |

Another reason is that neither have been made in fully articulated form yet. I doubt Mattel is going to make them for their Movie Masters line(still crossing my fingers).
