With G.I. Joe Resolute being a successful hit with the fandom and fans craving more, it's no surprise that Hasbro decided to throw in some Resolute themed repaints in the G.I. Joe Rise of Cobra line. Case in point, the Gung Ho VS Copperhead set, one of 4 Walmart exclusive, offscreen 2 packs! This set features a Gung Ho figure similar to his appearance in Resolute, but with a movie logo, and was released very recently.

HISS Tank.com boards member Rulz has posted images of his recently acquired Surveillance Port, one of the upcoming Walmart exclusive Battle Stations from G.I. Joe Rise of Cobra! This set comes with a Tele-Viper with red trim, and M.A.R.S. Industries Trooper. Taking a cue from their Star Wars Clone Wars line, Hasbro has also designed the packaging in a way that it expands into a battleground diorama!

Arctic vehicles played a part in the invasion of M.A.R.S.' arctic base in G.I. Joe Rise of Cobra, so it's only fitting that arctic vehicles see release in the toyline. The bravo class Ice Dagger with Frostbite has been reviewed! Look familiar?
Well that's because you've probably seen this particular vehicle before. First released in Valor VS Venom as the Ice Sabre, then rereleased in the Direct To Consumer(DTC) line, this is the 3rd release of this vehicle. This vehicle manages to combine unique gimmicks, non-obtrusive missle launchers, hidden compartments, and moving skis all in one bravo sized vehicle. It definitely holds its own amongst the other bravo vehicles in the movie line, but is it worth picking up? Click on the discuss button to find out! |

The latest assortment of Alpha Class vehicles from G.I.Joe - The Rise Of Cobra have been spotted on Wal*Mart's website!
The wave includes: G.I.Joe Snarler Cycle with Beach Head and Roll Bar The Snarler Cycle is a high-powered bike that combines speed, maneuverability and firepower into one compact machine. It's perfect for urban combat situations that can challenge all but the most skilled drivers with tight turns, small spaces and congested surroundings. A gunner operates the missile launcher from the sidecar, allowing the driver to focus on pursuing his quarry. Stage your own "high speed" assaults in the ongoing plight of the G.I. Joe team versus Cobra missionaries. This sleek motorcycle vehicle has a detachable side car and features a removable missile launcher. G.I.Joe Skysweeper Jet with Air Raid Sky Sweeper jets provide air support to the G.I. Joe team's ground forces. This sleek jet vehicle features firing missile launchers. Advanced avionics and an innovative design enable these stealth jets to fly at super-low altitude to avoid radar detection and reach speeds approaching Mach 3. Compact, swift and highly maneuverable, Sky Sweeper jets aggressively confront threats from enemy aircraft and deliver air-to-ground attack and support. Strategize your own aerial assaults in the ongoing plight of the G.I. Joe team versus Cobra missionaries. Cobra Mantis Attack Craft with Aqua-Viper Officer Mantis Attack Craft submarines prowl the waters around the Arctic-based M.A.R.S. Industries research facility and conduct criminal operations for Cobra. They are deployed to battle the G.I. Joe team, which attacks the base to retrieve nanomite weapon prototypes. Open the cockpit and pose the Aqua-Viper Officer figure at the controls of this detailed, one-man sub replica. Scaled down to ascend into your deepest, imaginative missions, this Cobra watercraft features hidden missile launchers for taking on the G.I. Joe forces. Grab opponents and use in the working capture claw as you decide which team will win your allegiance. Grab yours before they're gone by clicking on each vehicles name above, then share your thoughts with us right here on the HissTank.com Forums by clicking the Discuss button below! |

Tao Bao user macca428 has posted a new image of a new Modern Era set, and another that we haven't seen in quite a while. Shown here are the Cobra Viper Squad and Cobra B.A.T. Squad. These Cobra Viper and B.A.T. troop builder 5-packs feature troopers and a leader figure with different paint applications. In the Viper Squad, you have not only a gold helmet Viper but also one with a swappable head(Mercer?).
The B.A.T. Squad features regular B.A.T.s in addition to a B.A.T. with red trim. Fans have been asking for a B.A.T. troop builder pack since the 25th Anniversary/Modern Era B.A.T. was released last year, and it looks like our wish will finally come true! No word on if the Viper Squad will remain exclusive to Toys 'R' Us stores, or which retailers these sets are destined to. Could they be TRU exclusives, or possibly online exclusives? Click on the thumbnail to the left to check them out! |

HISS Tank.com boards member ocab27 got his hands on a prototype for Jungle Assault Storm Shadow from the 2010 G.I. Joe Pursuit of Cobra line recently! This figure came intact with all of it's weapons and accessories. It uses the Resolute Storm Shadow body and swords/backpack/hood with new accessories such as a glider pack.
Could the glider pack be repainted and packed with another version of Resolute Snake Eyes to recreate the ambush scene from G.I. Joe Resolute episode 2? Storm Shadow(Jungle Assault) is expected in stores early next year, click on the title bar to check it out! |

Look familiar? Another vehicle from Valor VS Venom shows up in the G.I. Joe Rise of Cobra line as the Mantis Attack Craft, with an Aqua-Viper Officer, and it's been reviewed! The Mantis Attack Craft is a repainted Sting Raider from Valor VS Venom and was a Cobra released towards the end of that line. The Aqua-Viper Officer is actually a repainted and retooled Cobra Lamprey, this time around with a removable helmet!
This alpha class vehicle was released at retail recently. So is it worth picking up? Click on the discuss button to read on and find out! |

HISS Tank.com member snakeeyes22 is not your average customizer, but try and tell him that...Um...I'm gonna let him explain this one...
"I began sculpting as a solid PVC type thing, but halfway through I scrapped it in favor of some articulation and an existing foundation. Appropriately, I pretty much murdered a 1983 Kenner Wicket the Ewok, chopping off his unarticulated head, hands and most of the legs. The head, back, legs, feet, and lower arms are sculpted. The hands were cut and stolen from a 90s Happy Meal Toy of the Spidey's friend/wife MaryJane Watson" Click the Discuss button for all the pics & details ! ENJOY ! ! ! |
