Doesn't look to have too much articulation in the lower part of his leg/foot. Which means he probably won't be able to get in any real dynamic poses, and will topple over easily. I hope that isn't the case, though. He looks freakin awesome otherwise!

I gotta say, I find it hard to shell out the big cabbage for the MP stuff, but I do believe Grims here will be the first! 10 stars out of 10!

That does look awesome. I think I'm going to hold out for the American version though simply for affordability.

I'll be the dissenter and say...meh. The pictures just don't make me think he's MP worthy. As far as I can see there's nothing really new about his transformation. Sure he looks pretty anime accurate and it'll be nice to have something in scale with classics or G1 prime but I'm still of the mind that he should be bigger.
I'll probably buy him but I'm definitely waiting on reviews and to see where his price goes. |

Got this guy a couple days ago, and I adore him. Just a cautionary note to whomever buys MP Grimlock:
You need to cover a screw with a small piece of scotch tape or the chrome will get scratched badly over time. Mine shows a very tiny mark, so if it weren't for this thread, it would have been bad. (Its hardly noticeable now). For the long term, besides tape, anything that would cover the screw head in a softer substance (a drop of glue maybe?) might work better. It's a simple fix. I've heard that this is the most durable Masterpiece figure 2nd only to Optimus Prime. It looks awesome. If I buy it(still waiting to see if Hasbro will bring it over), I'll use it with my Classics figures.
