It's the return of OMG DETH OB DA LIN-.......Action Attack in GI Joe! Yes the same gimmick that is usually short lived each time it is introduced. We saw it during Ninja Force. Then it returned years later during Valor VS Venom(in the 1st waves). Then it almost made a return during Sigma 6. One thing fans can all agree on is that action features that compromise anything, be it articulation, proportions, overall silhouette, ability to use backpacks and/or any other accessories, are usually disappointing. America's Movable Fighting Man is known for full articulation, which broke the mold and set it apart from other figures. Taking that away and/or compromising it on GI Joe is like taking the transformation out of Transformers.
Yet this time Hasbro went in pursuit of action attack in Pursuit Of Cobra, not on all figures(the sighs of relief can be heard on the internet), but on....the Arashikage Ninjas. Yes the 2 Sword Brothers, Snake Eyes & Storm Shadow! Revealed today by HISS Tank board member Gyre Viper was the fact that the upcoming wave 2 Jungle Assault Snake Eyes has action attack of some kind. We're not exactly sure what it is. What we do know is that there is a button. Somewhere. The other counterpart to this figure is the spring 2011 Storm Shadow. Below is a video of the action attack feature, which may be similar to that to be implemented on Snake Eyes(Jungle Assault): Yeah...so what do you think about that? Gyre has also supplied photos of his preproduction Jungle Assault Snake Eyes figure, so hit the title bar to see those, and let us know what you think about action attack, loud and clear(is it a Yo Joe! or Yo No!), after hitting the discuss button(the armor on the lower limbs begs the question; does Hasbro have another version of Kamakura up their sleeves?)! |

Fatman168 has posted an auction for a possible upcoming Jurassic Park figure using the Roadblock figure from GI Joe Resolute with a different head sculpt. It can certainly be seen as a step up from the pre-existing Jurassic Park figures currently seen on Toys R Us shelves. If this item makes it to retail, Jurassic Park fans are in for a treat.
Hit the thumbnail to take a closer look. We've seen some frankenjoes earlier this year that had Jurassic Park markings, what other GI Joe toys will cross over? |

Sideshow Collectibles unveiled yet another masterpiece with the Flint VS Zartan Diorama. Capturing the very essence of GI Joe vs Cobra we can only question who is the hunter and who is the prey. From the individually painted detail to the removable moss Sideshow Collectibles one again brings us back to a time when GI Joe was truly A Real American Hero. From Flint's signature shotgun to Zartan's classic mask the detail seems to never end. Available in two editions one a Standard Edition US $249.99 and Sideshow Exclusive Edition US $269.99 that shows the Evil Master of Disguise using his camouflage technique.

The 1st Dreadnok set from GI Joe Pursuit Of Cobra features an all new member to the ranks and a notorious vehicle well suited for the grape soda chugging Cobra members. The other vehicle in this wave is the Ghost HAWK With Tomahawk. KjK was not able to pick that one up but chances are it was at the Walmart in question previously.

Troynos has reviewed the wave 3 Tiger Paw ATV With Leatherneck from the GI Joe Rise Of Cobra line. Still no word on if this vehicle and its other wave 3 counterparts will see widespread release in the US(so far it is readily available in Canada). For those of you who like using the newer vehicles for your vintage A Real American Hero figures, this vehicle is actually better suited for those. Why?
