There has been some sort of communication about the status of the BotCon 2010 registration on the club forums. Brian has responded there to questions about when registration will be ready, and it was communicated that there is complicated code going into place to allow online registration and that they want to make sure it is ready.
What was revealed is the following: *There will be one tour on Wednesday to Kennedy Space Center with no limit as to number of people going. *There will be Wednesday and Thursday customizing classes limited to 25 people each. *There will be no Thursday tours so people can enjoy the Orlando Parks. We have been told that we will see the brochure very soon but open registration is still TBD. |

Today's Featured Ebay Auctions comes from the Transformers Accessories Listings, which featured very few accessories and a tone of strange and cool products. A lot of them are unofficial, but usually very affordable ways to expand your non-toy collection.
From Ebay seller readersrealm comes Vintage Lot of Unique Transformers Party Favors 1984. While not all that rare, they're still a great set of items to add to your collection if you're into the non-toy Transformers products. |

TFW2005 is proud to provide another early Transformers comic review! Today, we review Nefarious #2! Nefarious #2 is out tomorrow - Wednesday, April 14th - from IDW Publishing Nefarious #2 Credits Publisher: IDW Publishing Written by: Simon Furman Art by: Carlos Magno Colors by: Kris Carter Letters by: Chris Mowry Editor: Andy Schmidt Associate Editor: Denton J. Tipton Covers Cover A – Art & Colors by Brian Rood Cover B – Art by Carlos Magno & Colors by Kris Carter Retailer Incentive – Art & Colors by Brian Rood Review The Nefarious mini-series will go down as a divisive mini-series. The mini-series will be fervently followed by fans of the movie-series, but skipped by most fans who dislike the movie series. The same can be said of the writer of the mini-series, long-time Transformers writer Simon Furman. Transformers: Nefarious #2 takes place immediately following the events of the first issue. Following the battle at Kingdom Petrochemicals, National Security Advisor Theodore Galloway is prepared to deactivate N.E.S.T. Meanwhile, the soldiers and Autobots of N.E.S.T. begin to suspect another human entity is involved in the conflict and seek to determine the new entity’s motives. Soundwave continues to seek answers regarding how Ravage was revived. During all of the events of the day, the Initiative plots to recreate the AllSpark for its own purposes. Simon Furman provides the typical Simon Furman performance. The issue has self-narration (this time, by Optimus Prime) and wordy dialogue. If you like Simon’s work in the past, this issue will feel like more of the same. Simon does, however, a great job of keeping in touch with the tone of the movies. Optimus Prime still has his bad-ass, drop from the sky moment, Sideswipe is still cocky, and Galloway still doesn’t like Transformers. And what’s a movie universe comic without death? The death toll in this issue is triple that of that first issue. Art duties are again handled by Carlos Magno. His work in Issue #2 is a step back at times from that of Issue #1, although still a vast improvement of his work in Tales of the Fallen #1 through #4. During non-action scenes, Carlos’ lines and details are distinct but sometimes become more indistinct during the action scenes. Where Carlos truly shines are close-ups of the Transformers, which features intricate details of the robot surfaces. Kris Carter’s colors again contribute to the effectiveness of Carlos’ lines. In order to be straight with the readers of this review, Nefarious #2 is truly a movie-verse comic. If you like following the events of the movie-verse, you’ll like Nefarious #2. It has a nice combination of dialogue, battle, and mystery and stays true to the movie characterizations of the characters. The end of the issue also teases that the mini-series is headed towards a big reveal and confrontation soon rather than later in the six-part mini-series. |

E-Hobby has released a picture of the Alternity Ultra Magnus packaging. This white redeco of the Alternity Convoy is packaged in a solid box, rather than the window box of the other Alternity releases, which allows it to feature a nice large piece of Ultra Magnus artwork and big, full color Autobot logos. Check out the image and share your opinions on our 2005 Boards by clicking the discuss button.

Over at ACToys this little gem popped up today ... a Classics Bumblebee repainted blue, resembling OTFCC 2003 Glyph.
But where is this figure going? Is it a Universe 3.0 release? Is it a Takaratomy Gentei exclusive figure? Is it some cheaply made, will-fall-apart-when-you-breathe-on-it knock off toy? Is it a random BotCon exclusive not part of the Generation 2 fiction (note: non-G2 Autobot symbol)? With the chrome hood it is assumed to be a Takaratomy type exclusive, as Hasbro shys away from using chrome on their toys. We just don't know. Come and speculate by hitting the discuss button!! |

An auction has been listed on Taobao for the upcoming Hunt for the Decepticons Battle Blade Bumblebee. This Deluxe Class version of Bumblebee features the most accurate head sculpt yet, and has a flip-down battle mask, fold out arm cannon, and even features the melee axe weapon from the Revenge of the Fallen game on his other arm! Could this be the best deluxe sized rendition of the movie series Bumblebee? According to a newsletter sent out by U-Toys in Singapore, voyager Sea Spray from the 2010 Transformers line will arrive in Singapore on Sunday April 17th. Adding to the fact that the release of new Transformers overseas is usually a precursor to their arrival in the US, U-Toys has stated before that they usually get their stock from a US distributor.
When revealed a few months ago, Sea Spray sparked excitement amongst fans for being a new version of a classic character, and also a figure that could, possibly fit in both the movie, and Transformers Classics lines. Could the wait for Sea Spray state side at retail soon be over? Thanks to 2005 boards member Yobuster for the heads up! |

Rumors are coming in that; Transformers 3 Autobot Bumblebee would be a Chevrolet Camaro Convertible 2011.
Tmurphycardesign of the Camaro5.com forums, claim to have seen the new Bumblebee. He says that... "I guess we're shipping it out real soon, because they are going to be shooting it within a week or so." Coincidentally, GM officially revealed (two days ago on April 14th) teaser pictures of the new Camaro Convertible due to release on year 2011. Donmurphy.net Message Board is also buzzing with this new speculation. To support the rumor even further more, an abandoned concept art for Transformers: Revenge Of The Fallen Bumblebee clearly shows a Camaro Convertible Alternate Mode. Is this the “Upgraded” Bumblebee, Scott Benza and Scott Ferrar from Industrial Light & Magic were talking about? Do tell us your opinion at the Thread by hitting the Discuss Button. Note: Please remember that this news is of Rumor Category until we get confirmation. |

Will we get a new sinister head for Clench? Or a nice new toothy grin for Sky-byte? Click the discuss button to voice your opinion.
