Did they not have a variant Invincible Iron Man comic that features a "Deadpool" Iron Man armor? That would be good inspiration.
The comic By the by..is hilarious. Can't wait to see what happens next.

I would say Hyper Velocity armor maybe? Try looking at some of the G.I. Joe Rise of Cobra vipers, some of their heads look pretty mechanical and might suit a Deadpool armor better. Oh and if Deadpool broke into Tony's Armory he would probably be stuck regenerating until security came because of all the security weapons Tony probably has in there.

Taking from the Invincible Iron Man variants (which I own, btw), I'd say Extremis as a base. But you already know that, don't you eisen? lol
I'm not trying to mess with you or anything, I just think that Adi's curves and the helmet match deadpool pretty good. Have you seen Jin Saotome's "Deadpool Mecha" made from Iron Monger?

Here's a quick mock-up of a possible helmet using Extremis. It's more or less the deadpool on the variant cover.

Extremis it is! but you made me break my pact of no customizing extremis, Excelsior07. :P oh well it is deadpool after all. i'll get two when it reaches here then.
monger is a definite contender, but all that's available is Mk1-6 of the movie armors +the concept ones. i'll probably do three variants, one extremis, one monger and another from the movie armors |

LOL, yes! Finally! I'm just kidding.
I know you'll make it turn out awesome. I think it'd be cool if Deadpool had a bulkier armor as well. Here's an idea using the Iron Man 2 Deep Dive concept armor (which I have an extra of...hmmm). I "photoshoped" what I think it would look like to sand down part of the helmet and some other areas. Just an idea!

Well, depending on what color you prime it with (if you prime it at all), I would use a very fine pencil and carefully draw the outlines of the ovals, so you have something to go by when painting. After that, I guess a VERY fine brush and a VERY steady hand, lol...
Good luck!

HAha, I love this and I think any version of Deadpool Ironman would be good. I'd do the obvious ones like Mark 1 Deadpool would be kind of funny, Extremis and Dead dive would be funny and Suitcase Deadpool. A lot of the Ironman Armors sometimes run together (to me at least), so I'd choose the eccentric ones.
This is a random question but, what are you using for Tony's lab table, it's very detailed. |

it's something i cooked up with a paint bottle cap, part of a perfume spray cap, gundam fodder, thread and a panel from a toy i forgot the name of.
also that's a pretty neat idea, i think i'll make some customs themed around deadpool-armor variants, and continue the comic i started with the premise of deadpool tooling with tony's armory and never ever getting caught. just to mess with the guy. expect sheep. LOTS of them |

LOTS of them I stumbled upon this. This is obviously a bit much of an idea but if you were ambitious enough you could try to recreate it Mecha Deadpool By Jin Saotome - Marvel - MarvelousNews.com |

Deadpool actually has a suit for a an issue during the Mithras story arc done by the brilliant Joe Kelly. He didn't really do anything with it, but in my opinion it's the definitive suit he HAS to have made
I can't suggest enough that everyone that is a Deadpool fan read the Kelly stuff. It's the best there is, even with the goofy 90's proportions. |

LOL, eisen, great comic! Funny stuff. I just finished reading the last issue of Prelude to Deadpool Corps, so I'm in a Deadpool mood.
I agree with scarecrow. Kelly's Deadpool run is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. I can't wait to see how that suit turns out, eisen.

This is taken from Deadpool and Friends, visit the site, it's one of my favorites and has a lot of fun animated DP gifs.

There's a good pic of that suit in the comic that came out last week called "Deadpool Corps: Rank and Foul", if you wanna check it out.
