Certain characters like Bombstrike and Barrelroll would be ok, but I like the core characters to reflect the classic design.

I wouldn't be against the idea in itself; but I could be against the figs if they look crummy. However, they're a very distant priority to doing 25As of RAH figs that deserved better than they got the first time around - like the SAW-Viper.

If Hasbro were to do version of Bombstrike and her brothers, Kamakura, Crosshairs, Barrage and some of the others I would totally be alright with it. Especially if your talking some new molds.

I've seen the figure go for more not graded, I'd say an AFA 85 for $250 rare 'con figure is a good deal for any AFA collector.

Well, there's half the battle. Now I know.
I picked up a loose one for cheap on ebay that I was going to use for fodder. It's pretty cool that I got a new character out of it. (New to me anyway)

Like was said on the Tank, he fits fine.
The whole reason I clicked on this thread was to dispute him not fitting. The first thing I did when I got Ace was to see if he fit in my Skystriker and believe me he looks really good in there. Actually, you don't have to believe me, Shogi has posted some pics on the Tank. Check them out.
