New images of wave 1 Storm Shadow from the G.I. Joe: Rise of Cobra toy line have surfaced, along with initial impressions of the figure.
The leg/hip mobility is hindered substantially by the coat. This is something fans worried about upon seeing the figure at Toy Fair. The coattail can not be removed easily either. The wave 2 unmasked version lacks the coat, and thus will be more capable of replicating ninja poses seen in the movie. Click on the title bar to see more! |

The Outer Rim Collectibles Store Update The Outer Rim Collectibles is an independently owned internet business. We specialize in G.I. Joe, Star Wars, Transformers, Gentle Giants and other types of pop culture collectibles. For over three years, we've brought some of the most popular toys and products to our customers straight from the manufacturer. Customer satisfaction is our #1 priority. The Outer Rim Collectibles online store is going on hold for about a week. We're doing this for a couple of reasons. First, we're actually taking our show on the road to MegaCon at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, FL February 27 to March 1. For more info on the show, please go to http://www.megaconvention.com/. Second, I've been talking about for some time but we're nearing completion of our new online store. Look for it to be up and running the first week of March. Thanks to everyone that has stopped by our little corner of the online universe. Charles aka SidDarth |

It's almost spring, and G.I. Joe: Resolute has yet to premiere. Not much heard from either NYCC or Toy Fair.
Yet the toys are already out. Last November we saw the first single carded figures, such as Duke and the Cobra Trooper. Now the Resolute comic packs are becoming easier to find. Yet still no cartoon, no additional footage; nothing. With a production team who has worked on other hit series such as Avatar, & JLU, we've been craving to see this series ever since it's surprise announcement last summer. So the poll of the week(POW) is this: "Are you impatiently waiting for G.I. Joe: Resolute to premiere?" DISCUSS! |

HalloweenCostumes.com has posted up halloween costumes from G.I. Joe: Rise of Cobra! These costumes are not in stock yet, but will be soon!
There are costumes for both kids, and adults, so yes, you can dress like Snake Eyes, Storm Shadow, & Duke too! You can even add ninja stars, swords, a treat bag, and gloves, they've got those up as well! Enhance the Snake Eyes look further with a combat vest! Sorry adults, looks like that combat vest is only for the kids costume. No worries though, the adult Snake Eyes costume has muscle padding, like in the movie(or something close)! Oh and it doesn't stop there, it also lacks the molded lips that most of you often complained about, for that comic-accurate look! Click on the title bar to see more! |

A Mystery Figure has been displayed in YoJoe's Archives for quite some time now. TreasurenToys.com even sponsored a Contest in hopes of finding where this figure came from.
Today, BFTB's own Dave Tree dropped a "history bombshell" on the community. The piece of info in question? Well, the name & back story to this Mystery Figure, of course. Today, Bombadier was revealed to the fandom and there's been a mixed reaction from both new & old fans alike. Our community will always have those that are full of doubt and those that praise the finding of this news. What you choose to believe is up to you. For those that are new to collecting G.I.Joe, to those that aren't too familiar with the rich history of this line, those that are unfamiliar with the various offerings that came from the U.K. or even if just for those that want to share their thoughts on this figure and claim, we invite you to click on the discuss button below to share your thoughts on this story. Thanks to The Baron, Dave Tree and Blood For The Baron for the news. |
