I've been eyeing this guy for a couple weeks and decided to go ahead and get him. He is my favorite creature from any of the Star Wars films. This is the best toy version of him yet, IMO. They tried to charge me $49.99 even though the label on the shelf said $34.99. I had to go and get the label myself to prove it to the cashier.
I also picked up a couple more ROC figures. |

I love him. So glad I picked him up. As I mentioned, he is my favorite of all the creatures from any Star Wars movie so I was psyched to see him. I didn't care much for the one from Force Unleashed with the paint on him. I wanted this one. I highly recommend him.

I got lucky and found the first batch of Secret Wars wave 2 figs in my area.
I only picked up the one I wanted though: I don't like Magneto. His paint apps are pretty terrible(the purple is sloppy), but the face is okay and the Spidey was well worth the wait, as his paint apps are almost perfect, even on the eyes. |

After a frustrating and empty hunt for DCUC wave 9 figures, I did manage to pick up all of the Secret Wars wave 2 figures, the Batman Beyond 3 pack, and The Joker from Batman The Brave and the Bold on Saturday at Wal - Mart, Target, and TRU respectively.

Nice find! I've seen that Soundwave and it looks really cool. I kind of want to get it but the only animated figure I've ever bought was the Shockwave.

Finally found MU Guardian, and picked up a red hulk and the new closed fist Iron Fist while at it.
Still trying to find the spiderwoman/ironman two pack. |

So In news, I finally jumped into DCUC when I bought probably the only figure I'll buy from it, Booster Gold. The modern variant was randomly at Wal Mart.
I'm more excited that I found this though, because I didn't think the rumors about Rite Aid would be true in my town in a million years: I am very happy I found this and didn't have to spend an arm and a leg. |

I was lucky enough to finally find the Target Rescue Mission set, and damn is this Snake-Eyes the shit. I may actually pass on the Resolute version, I just like this one so much(oh who am I kidding, I'll be over Resolute SE like cake, but I'll be damned if this exclusive isn't just as sweet).

Yes, it is indeed Resolute Snake Eyes with Paris Pursuit's head. It's epic.
I've been flooded with homework today, so I haven't gotten the other figures out of the package yet, but I like the metallic blue on the Vipers significantly more than I like the plain black on the original figures. They have a much better "Cobra" feel to them, which is nice, because these are my first Neo Vipers. I'll snap a couple pics in a few and post them up. |

I almost didn't get it because I'm not extremely interested in the Vipers... I have plans for Duke but wouldn't spend the money on him if he didn't come with the SE. I just had to have the Snake-Eyes though, so I bit.

Man that snake eyes is magnificent, almost worth the cost of the whole case by itself.
I wish that body was just mass produced, it'd make killer shield agents, let alone a wicked Ultimate Fury. Last edited by Snowflakian; 10-19-2009 at 10:47 PM.. |
