I've been looking all over for wave 5 of the DCU figures and had pretty much given up. I did break down and get Riddler off ebay a couple of months ago because I really wanted him.
Tonight my wife and I went to Walmart, and I finally found wave 5. I was really excited to find them, but I have a hard time justifying putting down the scratch to get 4 figures at once. My wife just smiled and nodded her head, then bought all four of the remaining figures of the wave for me! I definitely have the coolest wife in the world!

That's pretty awesome!
One time awhile back my girlfriend and I were out and about and I was all hyped up about Hellboy II from the day before. I ended up finding Johann, fresh from a box at a comic book place I traverse and she ended up buying it for me, along with a GI Joe and some other stuff. And I mentioned this in another thread but she picked me up a loose, but greatly taken care of 85 Beachhead for Christmas, along with around $200 worth of stuff. The only thing better than having a girlfriend/wife like that is being able to return the love |

Pretty cool, dude.
Back when Animated first started showing up in Ohio, my wife actually ok'd a trip to Cincinnati (about 45 min from home) to go hunting for Animated toys. I ended up coming home with all of waves 1-3 for the deluxes and and wave 1-2 of voyagers. She even helped me hunt through the pegs at a couple stores!

Dude I went out all over the place last night and couldn't find squat.
Seriously which Wal-Mart was this? South County or Kirkwood, because those are the only two I didn't hit. More importantly, was there anything left? |

Fenton. There were a lot of Riddlers left, and one of each of the others.
