Just wondering about Jessies little announcement about revealing something new at this years NYCC, then revealing that he made a mistake, and it was at the SDCC many months later!
Thoughts, concerns, friendly bashing.......... Keep it KLEEN !! |

Eh, everyone makes mistakes. Wouldn't be human if we didn't.

I'd think some hints about what to expect would make up for the mistake and help fuel the fire for those anxious for some kind of ML news. SDCC is a long way off, and right now we got nothing to look forward to in the 6" scale. Heck, Hasbro won't even show the public the new Crimson Dynamo, Titanium Man and Green Goblin they have to hold us loyal ML fans over.
Something to look forward to, to keep hot heads cool till the summer. |

This is why Hasbro doesn't let it's employees post on message boards.
They make gigantic mistakes like this and it just looks bad. Jesse needs to learn to keep his lips sealed and not make promises. |

Part of that policy is because they don't want to show favoritism towards any particular site. Besides, there are still Hasbro employees that post online, either on one of the fan sites (like TFW) or on their own website/blog.
More than likely, Jesse's goof was a miscommunication that was discovered only after he make the public announcement. Yes, it does make him appear a little foolish, but as I said earlier, we all make mistakes.

And Jesse doesn't even work for Hasbro. He's a Marvel employee, acting as a liaison between they and Hasbro. So Hasbro's getting all this crap for something that's not *remotely* their fault.
