Good to know that LEGO won't be stopping their production of sets anytime soon.

The rise itself is amazing really. I guess people gravitate towards old favorites when other things are too expensive.

Well good to know sales are up but it doesn't mean jack if profits didn't rise with them. Just a few years ago they sited increased license fees and too many specialized parts as leading to a decline in profitability.
