Well, that will be good news to the army builders.
I will be happy to see any of this wave (or even more of the first two) in my area. It's been really dry for a few months now.

I've pretty much given up on trying to get my favorite ones from the local outlets. I have taken to preordering the "must haves" and then hunting for the lower-tier ones that I would just "like" to have. That worked with the last line. Preordered Thor. Found Cap, Iron Man Extremis, and Cage on the shelves. Now, I've preordered Colossus and ArchAngel. I'll hunt for the rest.

It has gotten frustrating with this line, they were hitting stores like wild last year then this year it's like the stores have quit carrying them. There are several Walmarts in my area that don't even carry MU anymore. Target has had the same 8 figures for months now. Really worries me about collecting this line. I really LOVE this line and have waited for this line/scale since I was a kid. I collected the Mego dolls in the 70's then the Secret Wars and Toybiz figures later on but was really waiting for figures like these. Now with the way the distribution is I worry about continuing collecting. Yeah, I can order online and have done so for some but overall I really can't afford to do so{having to preorder in advance} and I really enjoy the whole "hunt" experience of coming across new figures or ones I wasn't expecting to find and then rushing home like some little kid. I hope maybe after the Iron Man hype dies down we'll see more of the MU's. If not then I guess I just have to wait til the Thor figures{after all, they'll hit well since they are a major film tie in}.

I'm in Miami, FL and I've had the most luck with Walmart and K-Mart for MU figures. Target and TRU never have anything. As a matter of fact, I went a few days ago to TWO of my local Targets and neither one had a single MU figure. Also, the Iron Man 2 section was slimmed down to make more room for Toy Story 3.
But this doesn't mean Walmart and K-Mart are always stocked with the latest waves. From the most recent wave I found Thor, Captain America (paint was horrible), Iron Man (Extremis), and Luke Cage. I can't find Bucky or Black Widow anywhere, and I might give up on them both (gonna wait and see what the movie Black Widow looks like). K-Mart usually has a lot of the Secret Wars two packs and a decent section of MU figs. |

I've had a tough time too but I can't complain too much I literally have every character except punisher and human torch on fire from the first wave. I'm missing sdcc cap and the two gigantic battles but that's it. Anyone know if I can still buy those two atretail. I've never seen em. I'm hoping to run across the gigantic battles while I'm here in Portland. But I live in southern Oregon and I check everywhere when I'm out Fred meyer, wal mart, target, tru, wal greens and even smaller places I've found em like bi mart.

I am in the UK and only recently, no doubt thanks to the Iron Man 2 movie and toy line, have I seen ANY Marvel Universe at places other than online or comic shops. However I am talking like the 'local' toy shop that has six on one peg. The wierd thing is they did not start on any particular wave, on the peg was Extremis Iron Man and Modern Thor, Green Goblin, Human Torch and Iron Fist

As far as Gigantic Battles go, don't bother looking anywhere EXCEPT Walmart. Walmart carries those figures as 'exclusives' to their stores only. Therefore, you will never see Gigantic Battles at Target, TRU or Walgreens (I have never seen MU figures in Walgreens around here, but okay...). |

nice. Thanks dude. Ya I got the 4 pack on hrs with cap, human torch, red skull and namor. It's hard for me to pay 25-40 bucks for the black and white cap but it looks like I'm going to have to. He's worth it though my buddy has him he's sick. I just found the punishere here in Portland thank god. No human torch though he's a bitch. I got a couple more stops so maybe. Definately gonna have to check at wal marts more now. Thanks for the info. Dam I want those gigantic battles.

I found the Human Torch (on fire) variant at a local comic book shop. I had to shell out $16.99 for him, but I just had to have him. It was worth it. The card on the package is also "burnt", which is a nice touch. Have you tried eBay?

There's no need to have more than thread about the same subject. Merged the threads with this one.
