Handytoy has posted an auction for Desert Battle Snake Eyes but this one in question is rather different. While at 1st, it may seem like it's just an unpainted preproduction sample, it in fact, is painted and is different from the version shown in preorder solicits and Toy Fair/JoeCon.
This Snake Eyes(Desert Battle) figure in question sports darker paint apps, is molded and darker plastic, and has an unpainted visor. Variant, running change, take your guess after hitting the title bar! |

TARDIS has posted new auctions for preproduction samples of the infamousShadow Tracker on Tao Bao. Another fan favorite designed by John Warden, this figure was 1st revealed last summer at JoeCon 2009 and is planned for release in spring 2011. As you can see in this new batch of photos, this figure features a healthy amount of weapons and accessories, as well as a menacing face sculpt.

HISS Tank boards member Gyre-Viper has posted all new images of a final production sample of Desert Battle Storm Shadow from the GI Joe Pursuit Of Cobra line. We are less than 2 months away from the scheduled release for the line, and this figure in question should be indicative of what we will get in August, deco-wise.
Storm Shadow(Desert Battle) features numerous weapons, more than any other Storm Shadow figure in recent memory. The Prince of Persia styling lends itself to a fresh new take on the Arashikage ninja who "lives a lie to find the truth". This figure is part of Pursuit Of Cobra wave 1, to catch a glimpse of what's in store for you in August(or maybe even earlier), hit the title bar! |

Thanks to HISS Tank boards member ocab27 for posting images of the canceled Crimson Trooper. The figure in question came from the canceled Crimson Trooper with Iron Klaw Trooper comic pack from the Modern Era line(which featured GI Joe Resolute comic packs towards the end).
Whether the Crimson Trooper or Iron Klaw Trooper will see the light of day at retail remains to be seen, but with the parts available for use(as far as we know), who knows? Hit the title bar to see more! *EDIT: More images have been provided by ocab27, showing the Crimson Trooper unmasked!* |

Sister site TFW2005 has posted new images of new, upcoming Transformers from the Hunt For The Decepticons lineup. These deluxe figures are more than meets the eye however, as they may have been influenced by GI Joe designs! This is not the 1st time this has happened however, as Demolishor from Transformers Armada was reformatted into a Snow Cat in Transformers Energon.
When the name Tomahawk came up this year, it was used for the pilot of the Ghost HAWK from the GI Joe Pursuit Of Cobra line. A neat twist, for the Modern Era Ghost Hawk pilot was Lift Ticket, pilot of the original Tomahawk! Before your head explodes, wait, there's more. The Tomahawk figure pictured here, transforms into a combat helicopter, and looks reminiscent of the Resolute Tomahawk designs. It's not spot on, but it has influences from the original concept design, and final design in the animation. Not only that, but Terradive, is reminiscent of the Conquest X-30, even more so than Space Case of the Cyberjets. *Bear in mind, since Hasbro retains the use of the Tomahawk name by applying it for these figures, it may have been conveniently secured for use on future releases too..say..would you guys like to see the classic Tomahawk helicopter reissued, maybe retooled for GI Joe Renegades or Pursuit Of Cobra?* Hit the title bar to see more! |

Hhhh1028 of ACTOYS has posted all new images of a loose and complete, GI Joe Resolute Storm Shadow from the Resolute Cobra 7 Pack. This version has the tatoos revealed in episode 8, during Storm Shadow's fateful duel with Snake Eyes, in which he inadvertently tricked Snake Eyes into teaching him the 7th step(the new footage made for the DVD shown after the credits alludes to Storm Shadow being alive).
We are a few months away from this figure's release, over a year after it's planned release(originally planned for Modern Era wave 14). Hit the title bar to preview the figure! |
