I will wait to say if she looks better from production until she is in hand. As for the prototype, the sculpt is decent. And generic enough for the other 2 female characters i mentioned they could make from that head.
Now get out there and look for us some MU SW Wave 3 and some Iron Man figures! You know you live to 'hunt' for toys, even ones you dont collect. |

Yeah I would like to inspect them more closely since the last comic packs' paint was pretty bad.

Found all three at Wal-Mart here, only had money to buy Reed/Ultron and Hawkeye/smasher, but I don't have to worry about Thor and enchantress due to fact they had ten of them and only two of the other sets. But if you have the Human Torch in his flame-off version you'll be swapping head with Reed for sure. Unless you like your Mr. Fantastic on steroids.

Think we'll ever see a light blue/dark blue variant of Mr. Fantastic? I know folks are going to want a cohesive FF team.

Possibly. But most are buying a second Johnny Storm variant along with the Reed/Ultron pack and doing a head swap.

That's exactally what I did. Found all 3 SW wave 3 about 2 days ago at my local Walmart.
The paint job on all 3 figures were so piss poor, luckily I am good with paints. Fixed up all my figures. I should take a pic of all my MU figs that I have on display....

The Walmart by my house had the Thor 2 pack and the Hawkeye 2 pack...I decided to go with the Hawkeye once since I figured the single pack Thor would be out soon anyway. Nice figure...the arrow is a cool touch. Can anyone describe for me how to sling the pack over his shoulder? Do you have to take off the head?
I immediately gave the other guy to my daughters to play with. |

Interesting you say that. Does anybody else's Ultron have REALLY tight articulation? Like his legs when I pull them apart almost snap right into his body and those shoulder pads seem to limit range of motion if they get caught in the down position.

Quality on the comic packs is lower than the single figures, the comic packs are the only sets where I found broken figures(my 1st brown Wolverine broke, 2nd one was on the verge of breaking until I modded it), and the paint apps are all over the place. Especially bad on the Hulk/Cyclops sets.

FINALLY! Happy BD to me, found Ultron/Richards and Hawkeye/Piledriver packs this morning at Walmart while picking up Planet Hulk DVD, sorry to have missed the Thor pack. I know, most don't care for that particular pack but I'm a big Thor fan and really like the Enchantress character. But hey 2 outta 3 ain't bad.

I didn't read the comics and I'm still coming to grips with Hulk as intelligent and not just a force of nature/rage but I gotta say I really liked it and with the appearances by Thor and Beta Ray Bill it was a really good DVD IMO.

I love ultron and his swivel elbows and biceps. Gives me hope for new articulation in the line.
Ultron has swivel elbows and biceps, thor has swivel thighs. Next all we need is all swivels in one mold! |

Don't feel bad about Howard, I have Punisher War Zone and actually like it unlike most folks.
