Saw this scan of the new Previews magazine over on Marvelous news.com and thought I'd share them over here on the Ark. Can't wait for this wave. Not really impressed with Maddrox and I can't believe how lazy Hasbro is by redoing the XMO strike force Wolvie into this wave but really love the look of Ghost Rider and have been really anticipating Mystique and loving the fact of getting the classic look for her. Thanks to Marvelousnews.com member, CMoney for the scan.

Captain Britain looks epic!
Mystique is okay, perfect for her rendition, but I'll pass on her. Team X wolverine, again dead on accuracy, but will skip him as I only want the astonishing/avengers outfit he currently has. Ghost Rider looks SWEET! But he's classic Blaze, so I'll skip him. (I want the cyber punk ketch, or or at least old school ketch costume). Multiple man looks sweet too, but I'll skip him too. I prefer the with coat, no skull cap costume. So lucky me, Captain Britain is all I need to get from this wave. =D |

They all look great "Not really Feeling Wolverine" I just wish they went with the 90 Multiple Man with Jacket and not that 80s version.
I loved the 90s Toybiz version of that Wolverine but this one just looks like a repaint of the X-MEN Origins figure. is it me or does the pick look like he has that crappy ball joint for waist articulation? Mystique & Ghost Rider looks awesome best of the bunch. Unfortunately their both short packed! way to go Hasblo. Looks like no bike? How can you be a Ghost Rider with no bike? I guess youre Just going to have to make your own. I really like classic Captain Britan but like jamie I perfer another version. Whats up with the M-16 M203? |

And the M-16s are only with characters who'd use em. Plus Team X wolverine comes with a pistol and holster too. |

Im loving this wave. I'm a completist so I'll get anything Hasbro puts the MU label on.
Why does mystique need an M16? Everything looks amazing! |

gHOST rIDER LOOKS TO HAVE THE AIm agent body. The jacket and boots are a dead give away. I dont believe Mystique has the new, promised, female body figure. And I think Captain Britain is using Colossus' body maybe?

All of these are retro packs though, so that's fitting. Also, none of these use the colossus mold. And yeah that sucks about the female body, but thankfully they haven't done anyone yet that would really need the full motion. X-23, Black Cat, and other more agile female heroes would though. |

MLF = Mutant Liberation Front
But essentially, all appearances before her secondary mutation kicked in roughly 2000s some point. Before that, she couldn't emulate powers or smells, only the physical appearance, and physical appearance based powers. Wolverine's claws, colossus metal skin, but not stuff like cyclops blasts, and she still smelled like mystique. So she did use firearms. After her secondary mutation kicked in around the 2000s sometime, she could emulate powers, and even smell like who she shifted into. This figure is from before that secondary mutation. The power usage aspect also comes and goes depending on how much her powers are amplified. So lately it's been back to just the physical powers emulated, and not energy based ones, but her shifting and scent changes stayed. Which opened up her various capabilities and no more being discovered by wolvie's nose. |

Capt Britain is most likely using Warpath/Wrecking Crew body.
Strike Force Wolverine is using the XMO body with a new head/goggles. Its too bad Mystique got the old body, but I think she looks great! |

Hmmm I kinda thought Capt. Britain would get the Colossus body because 1) The elongated legs and 2) He has the pivoted head joint, which can look up for flying poses.
Either way, I hope they give him the new head joint despite the body style |
