The price they are charging these days is just ridiculous, people can only pay for so long. This is a joke price, even £45-50 for an “ultimate” figure, no wonder certain lines cant last, people dont have an endless cash surplus

Exemplary sculpt! I like that the artist worked in modern highlights, while also maintaining a classic look. He/she seems to have an appreciation for the character.
Incoming Rant - Too bad Marvel as a publisher doesn't have that same level of respect, with Galactus serving merely as a foil to be smacked around by other trending characters in an effort to demonstrate their 'powah'. The silly Thanos drubbings were bad enough, but Galactus' demise at the hands of Thor was a bridge too far and beyond nonsensical. In typical Marvel fashion of shooting itself in the foot, they've effectively neutered Galactus for the sake of sensationalism in the revitalization/emboldening of [insert whomever here]. Galactus has little gravitas now and has definitely lost his mojo. However, depending on the success or failure of the MCU Fantastic Four and a fickle editorial staff, I could see Marvel trying to restore some of what they've destroyed which would make the recent spate of storytelling even sillier...contextually...End Rant |

The sculpting is superb! This is incredibly well sculpted. I'm not a big enough fan of the character to put this into a must buy category or anything, but it's really tempting just on looks alone. I'll have to see how my reward points look closer to release time. Shame they changed the policy.

Absolutely agree! I believe they call that the "Worf Effect" haha
https://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.p.../TheWorfEffect My favorite quotes from the linked page: "The mighty man of steel...Ha, Ha! I'm beating him with my finger!" and.. "Wow, they just beat up Worf! They must be bad news!" Hahahaha! Hilarious! |
