They look really cool, I must admit. A lot of different TMNT options coming our way.

Although all I'm waiting for my SH Figuarts TMNT and to see what the line has to offer next, those do intrigue me. Definitely hoping to get some details soon!

These are looking pretty awesome. I'm afraid the price will be in the 4 digits range for a whole set.
It's incredible how every new TMNT reveal is looking better than the the previous.. |

These look absolutely turbo-premium! So nice, super slick. I'd be a very poor man if I were to own even one, let alone all four. Nice balance between gritty realism and Eastman and Laird comic influence. Very nice. Radical.

They're pretty cool. I always admire when a company does their own take on the Turtles and comes up with something a little different than the norm. This is different, but not a total departure of what the Turtles should look like.

I love these. I think they are very original and great takes on the TMNT. I feel like they capture the TMNT vibe while giving us something that is different and works entirely.

Those look more like a serious medical complaint than any version of the TMNT I've ever enjoyed.
Edit - That looks like a response, it's not!

One of the reasons I like them is that I don't believe I have ever seen anything like them. I feel like while the others (90s movies, cartoons etc) are fun they probably aren't realistic. When I see these statues and this perspective, I feel like these could actually be found in a New York sewer. If tomorrow a news article read, "Real life "Ninja" mutated Turtle found in a New York sewer", I wouldn't be surprised if the picture looked like one of these. Without the "clothes" and weapons of course, lol. I feel like they are, on some levels, realistic. I think they are great.
If I was a statue guy, and not completely obsessed with the NECA 90s ninjas coming out, I would get one of these. I would consider them anyway and I couldn't be less of a statue guy. I am sure they will be super expensive though. Last edited by Bearjew; 10-18-2016 at 12:39 PM.. |
