Hold on a minute, how exactly did she win when she never went up head to head against the other competitors who won their match ups? I didn't hear about a Songbird vs. Typhoid or Citizen Z poll...I'm calling FIX!

True, feels like forever since her prototype was shown back in 2013. Hoping this time around she'll come with long hair and an energy effect!

When did they make Gamora?? I know they put out a 6 inch figure and they did one in the GoTG box.

I'm pretty sure it's in reference to the 4" line which is also called "Legends" now because Hasbro decided it would be nice to mess with everybody, that's the line where Gamora won a fan vote and was released.

Awesome! Will go right next to my Zemo. Interesting coincidence, Songbird just got added today, to the fun time-killer, Marvel Future Fight.

Really didn't realize that, so there's a good chance we can get a 3.75 inch for Angela and Songbird sweet!

Songbird is fine and all, but who was she up against? I don't see her being that popular. Also, not until 2018? Geez.

I hope we get a Citizen V all the same (Still really stoked for Songbird). They could do a Thunderbolts wave with an Atlas Build a figure, that'd be cool.

As for popularity, well... not only has Songbird been one of the most consistent characters from the original Thunderbolts to have regular appearances throughout the 616 lines, but she's been in a starring role in various Avengers books in the past few years. She's been a fan-favorite for almost her entire existence (if a low-key one at times), and Hasbro originally showed off a prototype of her (during her short-haired phase) a good long while ago, which of course built up anticipation - and then she never got a release. Needless to say, these factors have converged into a positive situation for us collectors

Maybe, I thought the Angela was expressly stated to be a 6" vote when it happened (and the new Angela is definitely a 6" figure) but they could still see the clear demand and translate her into the smaller scale too (same with Songbird I reckon). I just remember that the poll with Gamora a couple of years ago was sated to be part of the 4" line and then at SDCC 2015 during the panel when they showed her 4" figure it had a "fan's choice" stamp. Alternatively Captain Marvel's poll I don't remember at all especially since both scales have gotten her in that same look now.

It's not a bad time frame, there were several interviews done at SDCC where they said the time to produce a figure from concept to retail is 12-18 months. Given the precedent it is safe to assume it will be a unique sculpt as well, they won't just repaint an existing figure.
