Spider-Man 3.75" Carnage And Ben Reilly Spider-Man Figures Revealed - Marvel - MarvelousNews.com I know the picture looks crappy but I think Carnage has balljoints for legs and bending at the knees. What do you think? |

I'm all about Ben Reilly, although I'm sad it's not hoodie Scarlet Spidey.

Ben Reilly looks like NO knee joint *sigh*
Why HASBLO WHY? I understand this is a line aimed at kids but it is SPIDERMAN! Spiderman, even as a kids line SHOULD BE defined by it's articulation. Why? Because it is a hero who can contort himself into a Circe de Soliel member. |

Well, he isn't supposed to be beefy. Cletus Kasady was always shown as lean and muscular. Brock, on the other hand, looks more like a weight-lifter or pro wrestler. Quote:

I truly think that they gave Carnage knee articulation, just looking at how the upper part of the joint seems to be carved out a tad. They did give everyone balljoints so this may be Hasbro finally listening to us
Or it could just be me being really optimistic. I like how they gave Carnage an accessory which utilizies his shape shifting ability.. It'd be kinda cool to create custom accessories for him like a big axe that could fit into his wrist peg and attach it on. |

I've bought all the villains from this line that are not yet offered in MU and will continue to do so with Carnage. The fact that they seem to be adding a little more articulation does make me happy, though. I'm definitely not holding my breath in hopes that Hasbro will integrate more articulation into this line because I don't believe they ever will.

Well Carnage seems to be the Marvel Ultimate Alliance version. He does have knees.
Ben Reilly does have knees too. The Marvelousnews photo was from EE. |

With all the Spider-Man options (and I understand the kids sale point) but how about a 2099 or Paper Bag Spidey!!

Its all good. We just need to see this Carnage with upclose and clear pics. Then i can decide if I want to get him or continue with the custom i have planned out.
Tarq - Thank for the Marvelous image, I saw that one and knew that it sucked for clarity. |

But I definitely give CrownCoke props for showing us the original source of the image, even if the other site couldn't be bothered.

I so want to see this figure in person! Or at least hope that someone can get us better pics of this figure so that we can have some honest inspection of it.

I'm pretty optimistic it has knees. Look at how the sculpt "sculpts" inwards right above the knee.
We've bitched Hasbro out enough about the line in the last 3 Q and As. Like everybody said above; the Crowncake Image (as I will now refer to) has a bit better clarity and shows this feature a bit better. Crowncake Image > Zapruder Film |

But hey, it's a moot point now. I will say if Carnage has knees, I might actually get him. Maybe even Ben too. Still have to see them both in person before I decide, though.
