I'm loving these. Should have been the second wave for Galoob, but I like the look of these better.
Now, itching to see what's on Wave 2 ReAction.

If they release a Enterprise D bridge playset to go with these figures--then I would heavily consider getting these.

Kind of an odd choice there of Guinen and Wesley. I guess not to top heavy the line early.

Too bad they don't have the knee joints like galoob. Cool though.

They did an Alien egg chamber diorama and a Planet of the Apes diorama, but yeah those were cheaply made. A full Enterprise-D bridge would require more detail. Still, without knee joints, the figures would look silly sitting in their chairs with their legs sticking out.

I do hope these do well enough for some toy company to notice, and aim for a 6" or 7" collector line.

Not as bad looking as TOS Reaction, but still kind of cartoony. the Galoob figures from 34 years ago looked better. But I know that's not the point. These aren't meant to be opened or look great, just pop culture nostalgia. Trek fans can expect a super articulated 4" line around never of next never.

The problem is, though, that DS9 has such an incredible deep bench of recurring characters that it would be impossible to get to everyone. Even the main cast is larger than TNG's. You'd need, like, 5 waves of six figures to come close! Sisko, Kira, Odo, Dax, Bashir, O'Brien, Quark, Worf, Jake, Ezri And then there's: Dukat, Garak, Nog, Rom, Damar, Winn, Morn, Martok, Leeta, Weyoun, Winn, Admiral Ross, Eddington, Vic, etc. |

These will be the closest that we ever get, so they'll have to do. I'm still pretty excited. And at least they have improved the look across the board of the Reaction line since the TOS wave. Those figures really just look awful now in retrospect. |

I'm pretty sure they said they did Wesley because of Wil Wheaton's internet popularity.

I Pre-ordered Data to replace my speckle-faced Data from Galoob. I'm not sure how well these will mix, but I'll post a pic when I receive mine.

Wesley was originally supposed to be in the cancelled second wave by Galoob. Kind of a logical choice. Hopefully, we'll see a Romulan in the ReAction second wave. (If these do well.)
