Ypu may have heard that some of the Star Wars battle packs(3packs) were clearanced at Walmart. Rightfully so as most were repacks of figures from more than SIX YEARS AGO!
Well today, I came across more cleranced SW items. The Star Wars Transformers(class II aka the bigger $15 ones) were clearanced but I forgot the price. Most of those were repaintts from 2006 and beyond. THEN some of the starfighter vehicles, specifically the ones in new packagaing, like Darth Maul's space ship and the pod racers, were down to $21, which is $7-8 off depending on your area. Rightfully so as there's nothing new about these vehicles, they are old but in new packaging. Seems even Walmart realized what a mistake it was for Hasbro to have repackaged items at $5-6 more than msrp compared to previous years. I keep thinking that price point for starfighter vehicles got bumped up this year for extra profit but also, out of all the vehicles, the Naboo Starfighter is a new mold and probably worth that much. All the other vehicles have the same price as a placeholder if you will. Hasbro did the same for the Clone Wars Y-Wing, the $64 price tag was mainly for that but since the ARC-170 repaint was released 1st, it had that price tag as a placeholder for the Y-Wing. That had bad results. The ARC was grossly overpriced as it was a repaint which only a few years prior was $35. The Y-Wing was worth it imo though. Anyways I bought Darth Maul's rocket with wings. Looks cool.

This happened with my local Fred Meyer stores with the attack shuttle. I found out later that my dad went and got one at the $30 clearance price to put it in the attic and hope someday he can part it out.

I'm hoping to get that SWTF Darth Maul repack on clearance, but he's still full price around me. Passed on him the first time around and kind of regret it, so I might end up paying full retail just to make sure I have it this time. I've become a bit of a mold completionist with the SWTFs. Thankfully, I don't count remolds, otherwise those Jedi Starfighters would drive me apeshit.
