I found the wave at a Thinkgeek store (minus Revan and Sabine) but in a way I'm not sure they count as being different from Gamestop since now Gamestop owns Thinkgeek and both stores had items which were marked as "Gamestop exclusive."

Went to Wal-Mart today, had a gift card, so figured I'd pick up a 3.75 inch Black series figure and one of the new Voltron lions(the ones that combine). No Voltron lions except for the most expensive one that I couldn't afford, so I picked up a Storm Trooper and a C-3PO and R2-D2 2-pack(which I think was slightly overpriced, but what can you do?)
I'm rambling a bit, but is my local Wal-mart the only one that isn't getting in the Rogue One 3.75 inch Black series figures? Seriously, I've been to Wal-mart twice in decent history, and they were PACKED with Force Awakens ones, but no Rogue One. I also find the amount of Force Awakens stuff still in stores to be a bit odd. It's not really that I don't like Force Awakens stuff still being available, but I find it odd that there hasn't been a clearance sale, at least locally. Edit: Just remembered this. Adding to the insanity, that Walker that was revealed recently(I forget the name)? THEY HAD IT! They stocked that, but none of the Rogue One stuff. Weird.

Yeah. It's weird, since I find the rest of the 3.75 inch Black series to be pretty reasonably priced. Ah well, maybe it'll be clearanced.

Ugh, this thing is blurry despite my best efforts. This shelf is okay for displaying, but not so much for picture taking.
Anyway, non-Lego Star Wars figure collection.

How much are they for you? $14 is way too damn close to $20 for me to get over given the size difference.

About $12.83. I got Kylo Ren and that rerelease Luke for about $10 a few months back(that was online).

Well $12.83 isn't so bad I guess but for some damn reason my local wal-mart has always kept them at $14 unless they're having a rollback in which case they're $10 (I snagged Kylo Ren at that price) but those rollbacks only last like a single weekend. My local store even got the newest Rogue One wave and most of those are still sitting on the pegs because of the stupid price, and all of the 6" figures are only $18 ($16 for a decent while) so nobody is too keen on the little Black Series anymore in these parts.

The only other close one is really new and doesn't carry the 3.75" Star Wars Black Series just the 6" stuff and the 5-POA little stuff. I've noticed before that my regular wal-mart doesn't seem to follow suit of other stores with regards to sales or prices on anything in the toy section. A few times I've seen fellow Arkers get something on clearance or on sale at a wal-mart but when I went to check my store it would still scan as usual until a few weeks later. Maybe my store will end up changing the price eventually if it really is just the new msrp, they'll just take their sweet time doing it. Thankfully I am pretty much done with that scale of SW and really now just get the 6" stuff with a few exceptions.

Finally took the dive and picked up my first SH Figuarts figure in Jango Fett, and he did not disappoint. The only other thing I could have asked for from it would have been an unmasked portrait, which I am hoping we will get when Bandai gets around to Boba, similar in the way they did with Jedi Luke and unmasked Vader. I spent nearly an hour just messing around with him. Count Dooku please Bandai!
Picked up the 442nd trooper to use for a stand in Commander Gree, who I have wanted ever since the expertly done Commander Cody was given to us. (And yes, I know Gree and the 442 are different units!) Excellent figure though, and I hope we get more Phase 3 armors in the future. |

My Wal-Mart got in the AT-ST and while it is a cool vehicle that price is just too much for what you get. In related news my wal-mart did change the price tags for the 3.75" Black Series figures to $12.83 which I thought was a bit funny since we were talking about that just a couple of posts ago.

Went to like six stores over the weekend.
No sign of Rogue One wave 4 yet... should be soon as there were only 4 figures in total at ALL six stores!! These things FLY off the shelves here. Force Awakens stuff was long gone in my area by September-October. Just really really really wanting the Grand Admiral Thrawn!!!! I am hooked on Rebels figures. Will also pick up the Seventh Sister/Maul two pack the second I see it. It is a got d time to be a Star Wars collector!

My local K-Mart typically has a few of each of these exclusive Black Series figures on the shelf, but today I saw hundreds (seriously, no exaggeration) of these at my local store.
They had a few of these 4-sided displays, and they were all crammed with figures. I guess the K-Mart distribution centers are sending these figures out in bulk to the remaining stores. I already have this Jyn, and I have the other versions of 6" Rey and Kylo Ren, but when the price drops again, I'll probably snag them as well. It's a shame that none of these K-Mart exclusives were Stormtroopers, because I'd be able to do some SERIOUS troop building once these things inevitably drop to 90% off

Has anyone here picked up the TFA "Battle Action" Millennium Falcon; the one that has the Nerf missile launcher, and comes with Finn, Chewie, and BB-8 ?
I've spotted it on clearance for $35, and while I know that it's not going to be anywhere near as impressive as the '04 OTC Millennium Falcon that I currently own, I'm really tempted to pick it up, especially since it's been marked down by about $115 ().

I have it, it's nice for what it is, probably not as cool as the original big Falcon. The back area is nice and becomes a larger play set when the roof comes off and extends the interior of the Falcon.
