You'd think the ONE place that would have the 40th figs in stock all the time would be HTS!!!

The crummy thing is that in the first movie you can tell that he does have some elbow movement with the pistons limiting things. My only guess with Hasbro not giving him any elbows is because they would have put effort into engineering a way for his elbows to move and then higher QC because the small parts could easily break. I take consolation in the fact that C3PO is a very stiff character but SH is definitely going to be way better than Hasbro for this fastidious protocol droid, it's actually shiny and the elbows will move. I'm certainly content with the Hasbro one because it was only $20 but it had room to improve.

He's only like $34 with AmiAmi's discount and he puts the Hasbro one to shame, so whatever.

I paid $28 with tax and shipping to get my R2 and if it weren't for his rarity I'd feel a bit overcharged since he is not a full-sized figure.

Yeah $28 ain't bad. I had the same way with Yoda I passed on him for ever then finally got him at a Terrible Walgreens in the middle of no where about 5-6 months ago.

Whatever floats your boat. I would rather have quality Star Wars figures. In fact, that is why I'm surprised ANH Vader turned out so damn good. If only Hasbro could put that much care and effort into all of their Star Wars figures.

I'm sort of ashamed to admit it but I still like leaving my first black series Vader out on display since he sports a different look but I have to keep him away from the new one or it highlights his inadequacies.

Did anyone here pick up the new (old) Rogue One AT-AT? I've been dying to see some pictures of it.

Funny thing of note, since there was talk of C-3PO here. I legit checked the #swapthefig tag on Instagram, and came across a picture of a Bandai modelkit 3PO in a Black series box.
I'm not sure if this was faked or not, but I've seen a picture of a perfectly good MacFarlane Spidey in a new Legends box. Nothing surprises me anymore.

I've seen all of them except the Vader and Ben. They honestly look okay for die-cast 3.75" figures and I like the bases they come with but they don't look worth their listed price. Also I've seen very differing degrees of paint quality from figure to figure so that's not great.

Doctor Aphra has won the 3.75" The Vintage Collection fan poll, unsurprisingly.

Fair enough. I'm an all-Star Wars media chap myself, and I think it's fitting that the most popular new non-film character is getting an action figure. Hopefully it will lead the way for more Marvel comics characters. I'm really genuinely excited, I'm not even a 3.75" collector but I will buy it if they give me comic characters.

So no Yak Face.... gutted. I never heard of her but glad fans will get her. Two things that please me though, one; having a female Asian 3.75" head for customizers will be welcome across all lines in the mother scale, and secondly I noticed the "mock up" card had a price point of $4.99... I am positive it won't sell for that, but was still fun to see it with a throw back price.
