Just stopped by my local TRU, and Star Wars black figures are 50% off. Deal ends today. I don’t see it showing up on the website.

Looks like the folks at Dorkside have pre-orders now up for the next wave of Black Series...which looks to have Captain Rex, DJ, and Rey in her Ach-too gear. It looks like they will finally be rolling out the face scan technology as well, as Rey and DJ look like they have digital printing on the face. I've read Rex was supposed to receive the treatment as well, but it looks like they are using stock photos of the HASCON exclusive on their website, so I can't tell.
Really glad I kept patient for Rex, as honestly, it doesn't look like they will be removing any of the accessories the HASCON version came with like many thought. Can't wait to finally get my hands on him! |

^ I think I like the old Rey headsculpt more... the new one doesn't look much like Daisy Ridley... more like... IDK... Selena Gomez or something. I need a fully articulate Rey in her Resistance gear though, so gotta get this one I guess.
And too bad DJ comes with a hat... no Sicario customs now. |

Dont know where else to post this. So I am seeking some advice, or some feedback on 2 particular figures. I am on the fence about the following.
Bandai Model Kit Greivous - I have seen the final product, but I would like a review from someone who owns it, as I am thinking about getting it but would like to hear from someone first. Secondly Figuarts Geonosis Droid, are they cheap? Nice? Any feedback helps. Thanks!

The Bandai Model kit of Grevious is Amazing. can't recommend it enough. When I opened it and saw all the parts I was like "WTF did I just get into...?" but it went together really easy and didn't take long at all. his scale is perfect for meshing with your Hasbro Black Series figures- and unlike the Elite Series version (which I also have) this one is very very light and easy to pose using a basic Figuarts stand. His arms do not contract- he has 2 sets: the open 4 arm look and the closed normal arms. NOT for kids- he is delicate and playing vs posing is going to break him pretty quickly...

After playing the new battlefront I have been considering picking up the Geonosis version to represent the Heavy trooper- He is the cheapest of the figuarts toys available- coming in slightly under the $40 mark still. |

He was actually really easy to build. It looked like a ton of work when I opened the box- but the instructions were easy to follow- maybe a few hours of step-by-step... no worse really than a Lego set. Only difficult piece I ran into was connecting the neck to the torso- but even that wasn't too rough. I can't recommend this kit enough to anyone that is a fan of Grievous.

I do agree that Grievous is way awesome, and I do recommend it also. Though, I thought it was a complete pain in the ass to put together. So much so, I was completely bitter by the end of the build and didn't even enjoy the final product initially. I've put a bunch of DBZ Bandai kits together, so I felt like it wouldn't be any different. The problem with Grievous is that most of his pieces are really tiny and my big hands just didn't work well with them.

It's a smart option, though I'm going to wait to get a 3D printed Iden Versio head from:

It is a nice campaign, sadly, I think I may wait until he prints one offs, and that is mostly stuff I am not that into, although having a head of myself is tempting, it is not 500$ tempting.
