I lucked out this weekend at Target. Picked up 2 Gamorrean Guards and Moloch. Enfys Nest's swoop was also on sale for $45. I didn't even know Moloch was released when I saw it.

From the looks of Facebook & Instagram, it seems that Target's exclusive Bespin Escape Leia is starting to see a trickling release. Can't wait to find her. It's one of my favorite looks for the character, and it's criminally under-used in merchandising for the character.

i saw Chirrut AND Baze today for the FIRST TIME EVER at retail!!
but they wanted 30.00 a piece. or 35.00.....nah, plus i'm thinking these are now the ones that are hitting 5 below stores...but if someone that is trying to turn a profit gets them first...of course they'll clean them out. Quote:

In potential Star Wars toy news, a new image from Jon Favrau's new Star Wars show, The Mandalorian, has been released. No word on if this is supposed to be Jodo Kast or someone new but I'd say we'll get a toy of this new Mando eventually.

Judging by the armor colors and weapons, this mystery Mandalorian looks quite a but like Mij Gilamar, who was released as a figure with the EE Republic Elite Forces box set. He was one of the 75 Mandalorians hand selected by Jango Fett to help train the republic clone army during the Clone Wars. The colors are very close, and the weapon the figure comes with is the DC-15A, which looks very close to the weapon slung over the character's shoulder shown in the photo. If it is not the same character, the armor itself might draw some clues as to the character's origin or to the show's plot. Before Disney retconned the EU, the color scheme was often donned by Mandalorians on a mission of vengeance or retribution. Perhaps this character is attempting to avenge a loved one, or is seeking forgiveness for his sins of the past? Either way, I'm actually excited they went this route as opposed to another established character getting his own show or film. Hopefully the production values are there with lots of practical effects. Can't wait to see more. |

Until they reveal that this is Boba Fett because god forbid there be any other Mandalorians It totally wouldn't surprise me if this character turns out to be Boba, one of the biggest things I remember people bitching about when the old EU got canned was that Boba Fett was returned to his death by slapstick.

Excited to see Vintage Collection Luke Crait figure on a retro cardback! Its a nice little mix of old and new. Also excited to see new toon 3.75 figures! Its a toon being compared to the nostalgic Top Gun film. Which in turn, was seen as Star Wars yet in our own blue skies, back in the nostalgic 1980s!

Here's some cool stuff. Though its not Robotech's Jolly Rogers squad, this equally cool Blue Blasters Squadron, appears to be in the new Top Gun sequel. This squad uses the same F/A-18C jet modeled and used by Blue Box International's "Elite Force" toyline (a brand back at retail in your local Tar-zhay stores).
Walmart too hopes to expand their toylines with "Only at Walmart" exclusives. Perhaps its blue branded stores, can team up with Blue Box Toys, and the "Blue Blasters" squadron. And thus release this easy to make "blue" repaint in time for the new Top Gun sequel. |

Collection update! Some of these shelves are little changed (clones, battle droids). But this is the whole collection. My boys and I worked many months to get it here. Maybe a curse passed my lips, and my wife would yell up the stairs at me for cursing in front of the boys. They would yell back down "It's okay Mom. Daddy just knocked over a whole row of Stormtroopers with his shakey fingers. Hahaha, Daddy has very shakey hands." Obligatory discussion about how we shouldn't say those words, blah, blah, blah. Then back to the fun. This post has the right side of the case top to bottom.

This is the second half of the case. The boys were at the playground a few days ago and they struck up a conversation with another set of brothers. They were talking about Legos and what mini figs they have when I heard my six year old say "My dad has two cases full of REAL figures. Like fifty hundred of them. One case is all Star Wars. The other one has Jurassic World, and Spiderman, and Batman. We help him put them in the cases. Sometimes he gives us his doubles. It's really cool." And then they ran off to be dinosaurs. Stop my beart, my six year old was so proud of his dad's nerdy hobby. I will think back on this when he is a teenager and does not want to be seen with me.
