Did anyone notice the Ghost makes a cameo in the new trailer? Could Hera, Ahsoka and the crew still be alive?

I will probably be roasted alive, ignored, and kicked into a Rancor pit for this, but I honestly prefer the new movies more than the prequels or Return of the Jedi.
For me, it goes Star Wars 4, 8, 7, 5, (Rogue One), 3, (Solo), 2, 6, 1. I'm not a huge fan of Starwars or star trek, I just enjoy them as cheesy action films. So I figured I'd chime in as a "regular joe" film watcher. I really enjoyed The Last Jedi, because for me, Luke fit in perfectly for someone who was an idealist who got hit with his first real failure. 4, 5, and 6 was all about how perfect Luke is. Incorruptible and noble. Then we find out he's just as flawed as anyone, and one moment of weakness is enough to break him and screw over the universe. He couldn't own up to his mistakes, and he went and pouted for a decade rather than try to fix things. I found it perfectly normal. You see it today with the generation of adults raised to demand trophies for everything and told by their parents that they are perfect. Now they cannot accept criticisms at all, and have meltdowns if life doesn't go their way. I know Mark Hammill had issues with it, but I think it's from him wanting to be the noble swashbuckler again, rather than having to actually ACT in a movie. Something George Lucas never asked him to do. The new trailer looks interesting. I'll definitely see it in the 2nd or 3rd week of it's theatrical run.

I like Last Jedi and I think part of how I justify Luke's evolution is that the series has always been more fantasy than straight sci-fi and in particular it's very Arthurian. Near the end of his life King Arthur makes rash decisions that have consequences for the land but in the end he is called back to be a hero again to fight Mordred and in doing so he dies.

I just can’t wait for Palpatine to offer Rey a bite of a poisoned apple and it’s only Ben Solo’s kiss that can revive her while droids and hamster birds hop around her.

I had this happen with the Millennium Falcon set from The Force Awakens. First set in 15 years and before I knew it, I had purchased several more. My favorites are the Snowspeeder and the AT-AT from a few years back as well as the Falcon from TFA.

Stopped by Wal-Mart earlier and there was one Black Series Lando from Solo and a bunch of empty space.
I've heard there was talk of dropping 3.75 figures completely because they aren't selling or something but you can't buy what's not there. I haven't seen a new Vintage figure since young Han. |

My Best friend's son saved his money from his lifeguard job last year and bought it. Took him 3-4 days to build it. It is amazing! I have been tempted by the new Slave 1 but I still have my original Lego one.

I know it's early but has there been any word on a Blu-ray release down the road because I'm definitely going to want this in my SW collection. Last edited by snake5289; 10-28-2019 at 08:03 PM.. |
