Night sister is definitely the best one out of the three. I think I want to make some modifications to darth maul. Waist articulation at least.
Still need a star killer figure. |

I used to agree with Jason on this but how I have read it numerous time, Treble's quote sums it up. I haven't read any novelization on this directly from the movies but I took it a step further in how I see it. Sidious's grand scheme was not just to wipe out the Jedi but to make a statement doing it. If he wanted to, he had their judgement in the Force so clouded, he could've killed any one of them (Yoda included) any time he wanted. He actually wanted to give them a false sense of invincibility. I think he purposely commisioned "dummy" droids that would help him overcome the weak but give the Jedi just enough of a fight so they wouldn't suspect anything. Lol I tell myself the only reason they have Special Forces, etc versions is due to Grevious's constant complaints. I could see him walking the ship during an after battle assesment like "Seriously....there were like 50 of you dudes and only TWO of them!"
I think he had to degrade the Jedi Order through warfare- making them war weary and stretched so thin that when Order 66 got sent, each Jedi was outnumbered 10-1 by the clones, with no two Jedi working together, always leading their clone troops solo. It also made setting the Jedi up easy- no Jedi were left to dispute the charges after Sideous was done with them.

Nice pic- I wish they had kept his long horns...I thought those looked badass- like a crown.
I bet a Grievus lower body would look great on that....what is the Mauk with no shirt called exactly? I need to get that fig and combine him with grievus to make an ultimate cyborg Maul fig...maybe just use a MU Iron Fist upper body and paint it...taht would add a lot of articulation and sculpting detail.

What do you guys think is the better looking Jabba? I'm not talking about accessories; just the Jabba figure himself...
http://www.amazon.com/Exclusive-Delu...jabba+the+hutt or Amazon.com: Star Wars Jabba the Hutt Deluxe Figure: Toys & Games I'm just using Amazon for picture references. There's about a $20 difference in cost between these two. I'm not concerned about the base or extra figures the $50 version comes with. My main interest is the Jabba fig and his pipe piece, which they both come with.

I have that first Jabba and it is excellent. I haven't seen the second one in person.

The 2nd one looks smaller. I'd go with the 1st one because the base that comes with it is pretty cool, and it looks a little better.

I bought the 2010 Walmart version (the one that's $50 in those links). I got it on eBay brand new/unopened for $38 shipped UPS Ground as a best offer. That's pretty damn reasonable. The other version, which I like the Jabba just as much if not a little more, was $30 shipped. I did want all the accessories the Walmart version comes with, but not for the $20 price difference I was originally facing... but for only $8 more, absolutely I'll take a Salacious Crumb, the Twi slave, and the base. Thanks for the input, guys.

I was finally able to do a review/tour of the vintage 1978 Death Star that I recently got on Ebay today.

Republic Trooper rocks. Ball wrists and hips would have made him perfect though.

The wrists really would have been nice but I won't complain. Got him from the LCS but passed on Ahsoka at $14.99. I might go back.

Yeah, I'm not complaining, but the wrists would have helped with more varied poses for the giant gun.
If you want to store it on his back shove the forward handle in the "backpack" hole. Looks awesome.

Exactly, having a two handed gun it would have been nice on at least one wrist but not the end of the world.

Love me some Nien Nunb! Its crazy to think there has been 12 years between releases. I got my four ROTJ figures from Amazon and am really happy I bit the bullet at 12 a piece. Its really cool to have Prune Face Lumat and Weequay back up on a shelf. I didn't pick up the clone wars figures or the Royal Guard, I have half a dozen from ROTS.

Is that Weequay a different Weequay that the previous version or just a reissue?

I got this Lando at a Five Below the other day. This is the Lando I want in my collection (in this blue suit), but the head sucks. I have the blu-ray deleted scenes Lando, which is a great head sculpt, but they forgot he was black and made him a white man in that.
They got the wavy hair down, but damn, look at that mug...
