Got some Black Series Stormtroopers available if anyone needs. $21 each, 2 for $40 or $19 each for 3 or more.

I can afford to wait because I only have one close friend who I actively talk to regularly and he either waits to see a movie until we can see it together or if one of us sees it first we have a strict "recommend only, talk not" policy.

No wave 2 is just the 4 you listed: Phasma, Poe, Zuvio, and a Guavian. The other two figures in the case are a repack of Finn and a Stomtrooper.

I have an uncanny knack for sitting near a few standard types: the self-appointed critic who has to provide a loudly-whispered opinion at every opportunity, the guy who has to state the obvious, the giggler, the dude who has to hold up his phone to film the film, the loud-mouthed dude who shouts and swears, and finally, and most frequently, the person who should have gone to the bathroom beforehand. That said, it's a rush to sit in good seats in the middle of a big theatre with a bunch of people who are just as excited as you are. I sure hope this movie is good. |

cool..thanks..so the hunt for Phasma continues.. I saw zuvio but left him there..he didn't really look that interesting to me.Initially i really didn't want Poe (another X-wing pilot), but I liked the sculpt of out outfit and the fact that he could hold his helmet.

Possibly a stupid question but I'm going to ask it anyways - is there any list of the Walmart exclusive Black series 3.75" waves that are "supposedly" coming this month? I don't want to start in on 6" scale with SW, and I just can't bring myself to purchase the 5 POA figures from the non-black series, it's like going back 20 years....

Nope. I had to check 3 GS stores before I found one that got Phasma. They also got Finn and the regular Stormtrooper. So it would seem GS stores are just getting 3 random figures.
Both of the other stores got the same 3 characters of Poe, Enforcer and Constable guy. |

This goes towards a point I feel, why did this Zuvio fellow already get a 6" toy? By his look I'd imagine he'll be the act 1 immediate antagonist at best. That guy who's just there to bother the heroes but isn't an actual player in any bigger scheme. It's kind of the equivalent of Greedo being one of the first 6" toys except Greedo has been around long enough that he has some following, mostly out of pity I suspect. This guy could totally just be a background character and I'm not trying to say 6" figures should be reserved for important characters but before the movie's even come out it feels like a hard sell to have this guy.
On another note, my Snowtrooper officers came in today. Overall I really like them but there are some failings. Mainly the single elbow joints make it difficult to get good two-hand gun poses, and while I like the visual flair of the pauldron it does limit head articulation. The helmet reminds me of Cobra Commander. I really like them but it really rides on the fact I think they look good, the actual toy aspect is a bit weaker than the line has been before.

Personally I think they should just do away with the 4 inch line entirely. But then, I also wish they would do that with GI Joe.

I believe only those three figures that you (and I) have seen have been shipped so far, with the others coming as part of wave 2. The Force Awakens characters for sure have not been released, they will apparently be available for online preorder soon.

Ah, that makes sense. So basically the ones most people would want come out with wave 2? I hope they show up at Asda...

Regarding the 3.75" black series, I was at my Wal-Mart and they had 3 boxes of wave 1 to refill the pegs. So nothing but the Luke, Vader, and Chewie except there will be more than 36 toys on the pegs now since each one was a case of 12 and there were still some of the original case's wave 1 left. So if you're store does this as well then wave 2 might be a while for you. I don't collect the 3.75" figures anymore but this could be a problem.

Oh my gods, stfu. 4" Star Wars figures have been around for 38 years, I wish they'd cancel that bullshit 6" line and put more focus back into the home line.

I actually really like the 6" line, even one of their weakest figures (Vader) still gets a 7 out of 10 from me. Having said that, I was initially against the 6" line and only wanted Boba Fett because it was another Boba Fett toy, then I saw the Stormtrooper and got interested. I am highly disappointed by the decision to limit the good 3.75" figures since the new movie toys started releasing, I stopped collecting 3.75" Star Wars but there is room for both scales on the shelves. They shouldn't cancel either line, but maybe once I get 6" Revan I might not care anymore.
