Speaking of Five below, has anyone come across the repacked Vintage 212th Trooper?
I want one of these if anyone find him as I avoided the yellow helmet before. Apparently they've been taped back up when people are finding them. Jedi Temple Archives News: Hasbro Opens Figures, Replaces Helmets And Resells Them

I know most people would. If I saw them I probably wouldn't have given them a second look as most of the vintage clones had that horrible yellowed helmet. This is just one of those really weird times where they actually fixed the figures.

FYI, people in Canada are reporting finding the last "online only" Vintage wave at Walmarts.

Found a Vintage Clone Wars Anakin today at Target on sale for 7.99. Pretty sweet but a bit odd seeing the realistic style head so I swapped it for a toon style. Love the figure though. It'd be nice to see more of them but it was random as hell finding this one.

Does anyone know if at some point they changed up the VC's Stormtrooper helmets? I've had about a dozen for a year or so and they all have yellowed helmets. I bought four from Five Below this year, and of course they're white at the moment because they're only two weeks old, but the eyes on the helmets are clearly painted differently. I didn't notice if I was buying Stormtroopers from different waves when I was buying or opening... didn't think of it... they're Stormtroopers.
All of the Stormtroopers I already had have their eyes painted all the way up to the black band around their helmet, but the four I got this year have a break. Wondering if this is just a paint difference or if the helmets are changed because they corrected the yellowing (you could even call it "blue-ing") issue?

Just saw the (big) Millennium Falcon in vintage box style at TRU for $189. Was VERY tempted to get it... I wouldn't know what to do with it though. lol

I feel like it could be the later because that yellowed helmet issue happened on a lot figures they made, even right off the line. Maybe later runs were fixed but never let the warehouse.

The yellowing on these lines was some sort of fungus, it will rub off with your thumb and clean off with hydrogen peroxide.

I've been buying Star Wars figures again here and there for the past couple of years, but only now thought about checking out any Star Wars related threads on Toyark. Are people still finding Malgus out in the wild anywhere? Him and Vintage Collection Starkiller are two of the figures I've been trying to find for a little while now.
Also, has anyone here seen any of those electronic Boba Fett helmets recently? Just when I finally decide I'd like to buy one, the supply dries up in my area. They were plentiful up until a couple of weeks ago, but hey, that's how it usually is with me. Always too late to pull the trigger. |

I saw a carded Savage Opress two nights ago, almost bought it but I only have a few Star Wars figures right now and I don't want to start collecting these again. They cost me a fortune as a kid, along with any relative who happened to pick me up a figure or two.

Interesting. Just overall better painted figures.
