It has been dismal for Star Wars collecting lately. My Target has no black series 4 inch figures. The 6 inch side isn't looking that great either with peg warming Obi-Wans.
I think this is the next wave that should be showing up soon.... 2014 Star Wars Black Series 3.75" Wave 7 Set of 12 Action Figures |

Haven't seen anything new since the Chewy/TIE wave for 6", aside from two each of Bossk and Stormtrooper Han (one set went home with me, the other got bought at some point in-between my store visits). Some stores around me are still sitting on Han/Leia/Greedo/Obi-Wan, though one Walmart actually has Chewy and the TIE pilot shelfwarmning.
That sucks. I've got a Walgreens near me who has 3 Proto Fetts shelfwarming (at least as of the last time I checked).

Thanks for that. I had reservations about the Emperor's fabric robe, but it looks not bad.
My local stores are likewise doing an impression of Old Mother Hubbard's cupboard, with lots of empty shelves and peg hooks. I find myself giving up on bricks-and-mortar retail almost entirely. Hope ToyArk sponsors benefit accordingly, as more collectors do the same. |

Hey everyone, first time poster in the Star Wars Thread. I found the Commander Rex, Commander Woolfe, and Imperial Navy Commander today at Target in Kansas. Left the Chewbacca. Has anyone found the imperial transport vehicle from Rebels yet at retail? That Commander Doom guy looks awesome btw

I found Commander Wolffe & Doom last week.
Also my Target removed the Rebels tags from the pegs. They only have 3 figure sets left. I think they will be clearancing them soon. |

It would be nice to get multiples of the stormtrooper and Tie pilot sets. I picked up the Hera one last week so I think I have mostly all of the ones from Rebels now.

Have they acknowledged clone Commander Doom is a nod to Dr. Doom? Or is it just a "coincidence?"

On starwars.com in the trivia gallery for the episode "The Unknown" there is a slide which directly notes the homage.

Hey. How do the Han/Luke in stormtrooper helmets compare next to actual stormtroopers? Do they fit right in as stormtroopers or do they stand out a bit?
Thanks |

From what I've seen of the Han, haven't come across Luke yet, yeah they work. If you really examine the figures you can see the regular trooper head looks better than the removable helmet version but it's not like the removable one is bad or anything.

So I just wrapped up getting the 2 latest waves of black series 6" figures and a bosk from my local comic shop!...the emperor robe is perfect, commander cody however I think is the best figure out of the two waves....the detail is outstanding....i hope this means ARC troopers down the line! Also since we know a 6" ahsoka is coming...how about a rex, Quinlan Voss, cad bane, or, the four armed jedi that went on a clone killing spree, OR animated grevious

Ahsoka is a very delicate exception...she was a major character in the TCW series and looks to be a major player in the upcoming season of Rebels, not to mention she has a rather large fan following, so her figure is a bit more justified. I'm pretty sure that I remember reading somewhere that Rex was on the horizon for TBS, but he too was a major player in TCW and will be reappearing on Rebels this season. Bane I could possibly see at some point, but Voss and Krell were just side characters in specific arcs, and with as slow and small each wave of TBS are at release, there's no way that slots should be used to bring those characters to 6 inch format. Possibly in 3.75" TBS, but I'm thinking they're being geared up for a reboot once "The Force Awakens" hits theaters. |

If Pong Krell, Voss, or Cad Bane got figures before 3P0, Jango, Windu, Lando or Dooku, you could probably expect a riot of some sort from Star Wars fans on the steps of Hasbro's headquarters themselves. I might personally boycott the line myself if that were to happen.

Totally agree with all that....i should have been clearer....i was meaning to say that of cartoon figures those would be the ones I want...a mace, dooku, c3po, padmae, tarkin, snowtrooper, battle droids and magnaguards, rebel trooper and grevious are on my main character short list along with jango fett (repaint of fett body)...however like you said new movie coming and two new movies a year for the foreseeable future....original trilogy and prequel figures are going to become pretty scattered I fear

I'm surprised no one is talking about the Figuarts for C3PO and R2.

HOORAY. That's what I've been waiting for: the two of them together in collector quality 1:12 scale with a nice brilliant SHINE!
I gather that the scarred Anakin head was a surprise bonus in the box with the Luke Skywalker figure. Wish the head was also sold separately. |

I dislike their treatment of Luke - especially the ab crunch and windswept face sculpt - and don't want to pay the price of that figure just to get a disembodied head that rightly belongs with a different figure. I find the arrangement wrong-headed.

As for the alternate Vader head coming with him, it's not like this isn't the first time a bonus that goes to another toy has been included with a figure. Drive's tires come with the different riders from the show and not Drive. DekaRed, BoukenRed, and Red Eagle came with items that belonged to the Akibarangers.
