Anyone knows if Hasbrotoyshop sold these yesterday? Not quite sure if they went out of stock quickly or if they just did not put them up.

I waited in line at TRU and after the fourth person all of the 6" figures were gone. Thankfully when I got home I was able to get both Chewie and the Stormtrooper for just under retail price on Amazon prime.
I passed on the original Chewbacca because I didn't quite like his face. His open mouth looks less like a roar and more like a passive yawn to me. I like the new one's face a good deal more.

Feel your pain. I was centered first at the die cast figures from disney, then at hasbro, but they took forever to place the products, so I honestly have no idea if they ever sold the 6" figures. I didn´t even try TRU because they normally suck with stock. |

I think the new Chewbacca is the best hard plastic sculpt ever for that character.
Chewie seems to be a real challenge for figure designers. I read somewhere that Hot Toys spent a great deal of time analyzing the direction of all the fur on his face because they wanted to get him 'right' for their new 12-inch figure. THANKS FOR THE GREAT CLOSE-UPS. Rgds |
