So is this a completely new Jawa or the same one from the 40th Ann waves?

Same one I believe. There's a photo of them side-by-side in the gallery.

Okay, I know I've been pretty vocal about Hasrbo's digital face printing tech and the issues it's had with blurriness and being way off-centered, but when it's spot-on like it is here...holy shit. That's amazing! Like you said, it's like figure from two completely different lines.

I really hope the Death Star Trooper is indicative of the quality of the face printing process going forward. I guess you can compare it to the early days of DVD when rampant poor-quality transfers that were barely better than VHS eventually gave way to much, MUCH better visuals as they dialed in the new format.

Hasbro is on the right track with this new face technology! It gets me interested in figures I didn't even want in the first place.

Now all they need to do is update some previously released characters (Episode III Anakin, Jedi Luke, young Obi-Wan, etc.) and, more importantly, sort their shitty distribution.

I have all these figures, as well as the Qi'Ra figure of Emilia Clarke from Solo A Star Wars Story, and they were all blind buys but all turned out with fantastic face printing. I was a bit apprehensive, I really thought I'd end up getting a few wonky eyes or that the face print would be slightly a skew, but Han, Lando and Qi'Ra all look fantastic. I think Black Series figures from this point forward are just going to be so much better because of this face printing.

Thanks, I was really hoping they redid him and made a shorty jawa so we could have diversity in our troop building of them.

I can't decide if that weird pimp-coat Stormtrooper with Forest Gump leg braces is just really silly-looking or completely awesome.

I am in the same boat. The trailer made him look bad ass so the needle tipped more towards completely awesome last night.

I think I might be leaning to awesome as well. But regardless, the level of complexity/detail on the figure is pretty damn astonishing.

The Solo figures are 6 inch right? Are there going to be any that are 3.75?

Yes. Not sure about Vintage Collection (I'd have to double check), but in the 5 POA line there will be a bunch.

At Toyfair we got some images in their press release slides that showed some 3.75" Vintage series figures for Solo.

Tarkin is literally the only one from this wave that I want so I'm a little bummed that he's not up on Amazon yet when the other three new figures are. Stores in my area stocked the hell out of the first waves for the last three movies so hopefully the trend continues.

I see a lot of Peter Cushing Hammer horror movie customs being made with that Tarkin figure.

I love how they captured Donald Glover's over-acting. I mean, I do. I'm not being sarcastic.

That Tarkin face is DEAD ON. Great stuff.

I hate Donald Glover's casting as Lando for some reason, so I have no interest in that figure. But I do like the outfit.
