If this ever goes on sale I might get it, maybe. For me Grievous has become the premiere example of the PT's villain problem. He was hyped up and then he does nothing and dies so we can get a nod to an original Kenobi quote. It's worsened by the knowledge that in the original Clone Wars animated shorts he was pretty badass and none of this portrayal was seen in the film, he wins no battles and doesn't even get to kill some background Jedi.

From pictures online I'd guess he's between 6.5" and 7". His box is humorously oversized.

Technically we can't even count that anymore, the current canon ignores that Clone Wars altogether. In Filoni's Clone Wars Grievous was hacking his lungs out the entire time and no explanation was provided beyond the general assumption that being a cyborg disagreed with his lungs. My main point is that in the movie, which is most people's main exposure to the character, Grievous is a completely ineffective Saturday-morning cartoon villain.

Take a careful look at the elbow joints if you find this out and about. Some have elbows with stress marks on the inside of the joint.

I received this figure yesterday and it is amazing! This is the first Black Series I've picked up in a while. It's an extremely well done figure. IMO this is a must get for anyone who collects Star Wars! I couldn't be happier with mine!

I will be picking this figure up for sure. I love it and the concept. Contrary to what many base their collections on I just like concepts and figures. I can use my own imagination. I am not well versed in the Star Wars encyclopedia of history and knowledge and happily so. Grievous is described as a "brilliant military strategist" but star wars writers make him appear really stupid. I have been watching Clone Wars before Netflix removes and Grievous is again portrayed as dumb. He hasn't won anything or shown an ounce of credibility for a darkside anything. They should have chopped him up for scrap by now and they could have saved themselves an irreplaceable weapon, an outpost, half of a droid army, etc. My only gripe is that he should have come with the spinning light sabre effect. How could Hasbro drop that ball? Especially for a premium figure.

Better scaled, better articulated, but having to build it is a set back to me.

Holy shit @ that Sam Jackson likeness. It's fucking unbelieveable!
And the Mudtrooper looks cool. I might have to pick it up and pretend there's not some junior wannabe Han Solo underneath. |

The only disappointing thing about these galleries was that I was expecting a shot of Mace taking on Goose...
