Well that was a disappointing announcement to say the least... So many NEW things that we could get... and we get a ton of remake/repackaged figures... Oh well.

I like the diorama, pretty cool but I don't collect 3 3/4" anymore so will pass on it.

Man, tough crowd. New Leia. New stormtrooper. New rogue one. And an amazingly awesome playset that is nice and open for great display options. Haslab in august and word the more items will be coming in 2021 because of the interest in vintage. Black series vintage cards are also a win.

I wonder if Hasbro plans to do something huge to top the sail barge for this next TVC Haslab project, or maybe do something more modestly priced. I'm really hoping we finally get the Death Star playset we've been begging for for over 20 years. Or perhaps a Cantina playset. Either way, the smart bet for crowdfunding is something OT. I'm hearing rumors of the Mandalorian Razorcrest ship, and I think that would be a bad choice despite the popularity of the show and would probably do just fine at mass retail or thru fan channels anyway. OT nostalgia will attract more crowdfunding dollars in my opinion for a huge pricey item.

^^^ I don't imagine the Razor Crest would even need to be crowd-funded. It's a reasonably large ship but for comparison the very recent vintage collection Slave I wasn't crowd-funded (although that was a repaint of an older release). Edit: The Haslab project could be a properly scaled AT-AT perhaps.

I hope not. The last upscaled AT-AT from 2010 was good enough for me and I'd hate to see a TVC haslab dedicated to doing just a sightly bigger AT-AT when we desperately need a proper Death Star playset.

Wow I completely forgot about that one and its repaint, probably because I wasn't willing to drop the cash when they came out. So yeah we don't really need one from Haslab.

I hope there's an Ugnaught packed in with at least one half of the chamber playset.

A properly scaled At-At would be about twice the size of the 2010 version at 49". But we never had a gorilla walker from the last jedi. Or a 3 3/4 holdo. And nothing days it has to be 1/18 scale right? Maybe a 1/12 scale X-wing? My money is on an imperial shuttle though, since I finally broke down and bought one. |

Do they mean that you have to buy 2 playsets to complete the halves or is there another release coming in to complete the circle?

How many times are they going to re-release that dated-as-shit ESB Boba Fett? Get with an all-new RofJ Fett already, Hasbro! Unimpressed. |

In all fairness, this is for the 40th anniversary of Empire strikes back. So that Fett is appropriate. That said, I 100 percent agree that a Return of the Jedi Fett is needed. I fear he may not happen until 2023 though.

I've been waiting for that version of Leia in the VC for years. Will definitely have to get the playset as well!

Outside of the box, is there any difference between this Vintage Vader and the Black Series ESB Vader that recently came up?
