Yeah I don't get the things on his eyes. It's done on purpose, but I couldn't find a reference for it. Not sure what to search for.

well not to fan boy you and joe so hard, but...

the shots where the lighting underplays that aspect make the figure look that much better.

just shows how lucky we are to get you alls shots. thanks. sycophancy over.

The mask pretty much hides it. And from a distance, can't really tell. Only close up or direct lighting on face make the gold eye blobs pop. So if you are interested otherwise, I wouldn't worry about it.

And thanks! (Did not try to down play on purpose, just normal shoot flow)

He looks very scary!!

I think they might have been going for the "eyes on fire" look. But it does look awkward from some angles. Nice photos though as always !

Got mine a couple weeks ago and love it. Amazing figure an gives us something to look forward to for non-helmeted figures. I have a feeling though that we’ll get other aliens before a human.

I'm ok if they stick with mostly Helmeted and "weird heads" etc. IMO they translate the best into figures, nothing in back of mind to judge against.

When I first saw this figure in pics from shows, I thought the horns and alien-ness would all be given by the helmet, and that underneath he'd have a normal human head. This fear was furthered by the concept art we saw of an Ackbar with a normal human head, and the Mon Calamari head being a large helmet/hat. However, I'm glad that the horns are actually a part of Maul's head. This gives me hope they'll stray somewhat from the concept art for Ackbar and actually make him a proper Mon Cal.

The shoulder armor is a little huge and some of the arm sculpt hinders the articulation a little, but otherwise I think it's great. I think in these pics it pops a little more than under normal lighting so it isn't like blasting your eyes like some of the pics.
