For all the crap Mattel gets, for their superhero figures, they really do a pretty good job on their wrestling figures. There could be a bit more in the way of variety (as in wrestlers, past and present...Lord knows there's a variation of every John Cena appearance known to man...) but in terms of sculpts, poseability, paints and fun factor, the WWE Elite Series figures are pretty on point. I have to say, I LOVE the shot of He-Man overselling the SC Stunner the way The Rock used to...that had me laughing out loud. Awesome photo set. It's nice to see some wrasslin love here on the Ark... |

Great gallery & great review. JAKKS Pacific did a lot of great WWE figures back in the day & although the rest of their products aren't well made, Mattel has done well to maintain the quality with their take on the franchise.

And like how others have mentioned, the elite series brings so much articulation and fun to the table. Bet this was a fun review to do! |

Awesome Gallery! Love the fluid life and action that you manage to capture in each shot. Stunners for all!
(And Piccolo would have been too smart to get caught in one. ...Well, at least DDP has yet to get him in my room(s), after 19 years of Diamond Cutters. heh) |

Nice and fun pics Tony. Would have loved to have seen the Rattlesnake against Thanos and Thor...and for some DC flavor Superman and Bane. Cause you know what Austin 3:16 means...

... that I just whipped your ass!
These were done in 2016, so Thanos wasn't on the radar yet. However, a new Ultimates Stone Cold was revealed today so maybe round two later this year hehe... |

I remember watching this with a friend. He was into wrestling, I hadn't been since the Hulkamania days, and then it was over. I was all in for the whole Attitude run. Every PPV, RAW, Smackdown for years. And now I'm out again. And HOLY F that gif is amazing LOL. I dunno if I ever saw that. |

I never liked Stone Cold... didn't like his shtick with the beer... probably cause I don't drink though... I was more into Goldberg back then I think... Austin had a cool finisher though and carried wrestling for a while before he hurt his neck. I remember watching a video in his early wrestling days and he had long hair and looked like a pretty boy and had a totally different persona... then he changed his character and got popular and like the Stone Cold character became his real life character... it was just surreal.
