The next time someone tries to talk shit about your OC, show them Mortal Kombat.

Really kills me that the plainest repaint (Noob) is the most expensive.

Seeing them all here makes me reconsider not spending the extra to grab him...

Not familiar with the term "OC." What does it stand for?

Unbelievable photo shoot...this figure looks awesome. How much do Storm's MK figures go for, usually?

I don't believe that for a second, but to humor you: Original Character.

The Ninja's go for about $50 to $55.

Maybe I'm just dense, but what's hard to believe about it? I did look it up and saw that the first definition from Urban Dictionary was indeed "original character." The second is "original content." I've only ever known it as Orange County haha. And even only that because of the TV show.

I believe I understand your comment now though. It was poking fun at how unoriginal these four Mortal Kombat ninja characters seem given that they're all just color swaps.

Thanks for humoring me.

Great photos! I feel with Scorpion and Sub Zero you have to have both, Reptile on the other hand can be stand alone. I'm definitely tempted!

Still waiting for mine, but I'm pretty sure I got scammed. Got a great deal on Kirin Hobby, and every store I know got their stock a month ago, Kirin still has it listed as a pre-order, won't respond to emails or phone calls, and facebook is full of abandoned shoppers.

Credit card won't do anything because the pre-order was more than 120 days old. I can kiss that $$ goodbye.

Thought about using them before for something but once I saw the 1/5 stars on BBB website that was an immediate red flag

Yeah, I was tempted to buy something from Kirin Hobby recently as well, but after sniffing around I decided to steer clear. Sorry you got scammed, dude.

BTW, Joe, where'd you get the hand-rip piece used in the photo shoot? Which ninja did that come with?

Those come with Noob Saibot. There's actually meant to attach to a characters head and neck joints, but wanted to go a different route.

They didn’t used to be. I’ve used them several times in the past. Seems things fell apart at or around sept of last year, judging from posts on FB.

I gotta decide if I want to re-purchase this from another vendor or just say “F it” and stick to Scorpion and subzero.

Wow! Amazing photos! Love the shots with the arm bit off.
I'm not surprised that they keep reusing this body. I played MK games forever, and everybody seems to love the ninjas, even have their own personal favorite. If this helps keep the line going, no worries. This Reptile figure is loaded with accessories, much more than Noob or SubZ. Personally I think Scorpion and Reptile are the best releases so far. Rain, Ermac, and Smoke are coming at some point, probably see them again at TOY FAIR. Can't wait for Shao Kahn! BTW, I got my Reptile from Storm's website, it shipped in November. Website works well, but YOU MUST PREORDER! If Preorder sells out, that's it...usually.
