Nice. Not that interested in Sub-Zero but Sektor and Cyrax would be awesome.

Anyway, I'm down for both, I really like the good old Ketchup & Mustard robo duo, and their original MK3 appearances are still unrivaled to this day IMO. |

Wow you're right, you posted the news from Wonderfest Summer almost one year ago, I somehow missed that entirely. Or I straight up forgot

MK3 already, very good.
But i did not like Sub Zeros Outfit from MK3 that much... Iam happy that they dive into MK3 now, i really want a MK3 Liu Kang. But i still think, the bestsellers of all time would be some Chars from MK9 / MK10. Sub Zero Masked + Unmasked (2 Heads) and Scorpion Masked + Unmasked (Hanzo Hasashi) Would be some bestsellers of all time. As i said in the Mezco Thread, Mezco with Marvel and Storm C with MK 1-10, they only need to pick the right Characters, and pre Orders will go crazy = Money Rain Iam excited to see what Storm C will show at SDCC Last edited by Ventus; 07-13-2018 at 05:48 AM.. |

Where is their Kitana? Shouldn't they first at least release or show painted versions of the ones they announced almost a year ago?

Mortal Kombat VS Series Noob Saibot 1/12 Scale Figure SDCC 2017 Exclusive
Wow, why the hell even have exclusives? BBTS has this up as a restock of last year's SDCC "exclusive." |

Ah, but the only Outworld ninja is Ermac. Scorpion and Noob Saibot are from the Netherrealm. Sub-Zero is a human from Earth. Reptile is from Zatarra, which was obliterated by Shao Kahn and his race was wiped out. Zatarra never became part of Outworld.

I think I might be the only person who really hates these figures, Everyone on Youtube goes gaga over them saying they're some of the best figures ever made. I bought their Hollywood Hogan and Chun Li figures and they were the worst figures I'd bought since Play Arts Kai.

Not every line is for everyone, but their favorable reviews seem to landslide over the negative. So that's a good thing. Vs, say the Mezco line before them and the (Jakks?) before them which were not regarded well by a majority but had a small following of people that liked them... Just means most people are happy with the product, but again- can't please 'em all.

Iam also not very sure if i should purchase certain Figures...
iam very undecided...as i said. I need to see where they want to go with the Line. For example, MK1/MK2 Liu Kang - looks awesome, also the Dragon. But i like my Liu Kang with long Hair from MK3 - MK10. I was interested in Goro, but this is also the MK1 Version which looks ugly because he is almost naked... Goro in MK10 (With Armor Parts) looks awesome or KINTARO from MK2 That is what i really would like to see. Last edited by Ventus; 07-14-2018 at 02:19 PM.. |

Mk1 was Jean Claude Van Damme, Bruce Lee, & Linda Hamilton vs an unruly alien invasion and cybernetic killer.

Disclaimer 2: I like figures I can fiddle around with without fear of them breaking, no I'm not expecting to be able to bash them against the wall like a kids' toy but the articulation should be easy, fun and functional. So that might color my view a bit here. It really just comes down to that empty rubber crotch they use on these things. I hate it, It makes posing the legs more difficult then it needs to be because of how it can wiggle around while moving the legs leaving a nasty gap in the sculpt. And I worry if I were to say leave Chun Li in a high-kick pose or have Hogan doing his famous leg drop for an extended period of time it'll become warped due to the leg caving in the rubber. Their Street Fighter stands also suck badly but most figure stands with a claw grip do so I won't hold that against them. Also due to me trying to get Hogan's hips straight after playing with the legs thanks to that stupid rubber crotch his belt came off and being rubber it is impossible to get back on *whoever decides to make wearable belts out of soft rubber should be shot* and because of that empty crotch he has a notable gap in his torso now. Makes me worried to mess with Chun Li for fear her sash may come off, IDK if they glued it on. My Hogan also has some QC issues mainly his left arm being loose in the socket to the point it pops out if you raise it and one of his legs being slightly longer than the other. Maybe I'm being too harsh on these things * They do look cool and if it wasn't for the rubber pieces they'd be real fun to pose* but I haven't been this frustrated with a toy since PAK Chun Li which was so bad it made me say **** it to that entire line. These aren't that bad though because at least they can stand unaided and pieces don't fall off just by lightly touching them. Still debating on whether to get the other Hogans they made since they'll probably be the only 1/12 scale Hogans made until WWE eventually decides to let Hogan back. I get why they went with the rubber pelvis, but I don't understand why it's not actually attached to anything. Seems shoddy compared to the quality of the rest of the figure. NECA's way makes more sense, where the flexible pelvis cover attaches to an underlying plastic part as well as the lower torso.

Looks like the fully painted Baraka will also be making an appearance at SDCC 2018.

I like a lot of what storm does but have to admit, not a fan of the empty rubber crotches either. Haven't had any issues with posing but, it can look unsightly in certain poses.
