These things are so cool. You know I would love to see NECA do Transformers this scale, and I would be perfectly fine with a 18 inch non-transforming G1 Prime and Megatron. They would fit perfectly in a 1/12th action figure display.

I just wish NECA was better at articulation. The joints are very limited, even at the 18" size. That and their signature reliance on that hard rubber is a pain. No way to crack it open to customize it.
Now what I *REALLY* wish would happen is for Bandai to get the model kit license to pump out Gundam-level engineering with detailed inner frames. Something in the 8-10 inch tall range. They know how to do articulation. |

I was never a fan of the paint quality in Neca's Pacific Rim line. It never seemed up to par with their Other releases. Maybe this one will be different.
