Maybe it's just me, but I don't see it with these figures. Why would anyone want to pay $15 for that?

$15 is pretty weak, but Super 7 seem to be just ridiculous with pricing in general.

I am a big fan of these ReAction figures in general. I have a few and I will never go all in, but I like that we are in a pace in collecting these days where there is room for a retro throwback line.
They aren't possible or beautiful... just fun. At the price point THESE are collector based(as is the whole line to be fair) but they are good to bash them together and shoot pew pew pew kind of toy. My son's loves them in his tub. If you have a big collection I think they fit in great loose on a shelf. If you keep them carded they are ace on a wall. On there own merit, they are weak sauce for sure... I get it. I do, but if you have a load of say, Freddy and Jason stuff, these look the business on the shelf. Even hold their own and CAN outshine super articulated stuff. They are just FUN...

Ehn, when Funko distributes them they retail for like $10 and it's not uncommon to see them in the clearance bin or be able to get a stack of 'em cheap on eBay. Super 7 pricing for their branded stuff really pushes the limits of what should make people mad.

I have no issue with the idea of 'Retro' figures, but these look worse than figures did back in the day. They look more like $1 store versions. I think if they had more detail and 'shape' they might get away with it. However, they need to price them right.

I don't see why anyone would pay $15 for one of these when you can get the Happy meal toys with better detailing as a complete set for less on ebay.

I saw these at my LCS for $18 and I did a double take cause I couldn't believe these were going to be so much.
I don't mind the 5 POA but I just wish the sculpts were a little better. Also, the card art for these is really awesome. I spent more time looking at that than the actual figure lol. |
