Not sure what it is, but this Toxie figure makes me a little less excited for the soon-to-be revealed TMNT line. Maybe it's the paint job, but this doesn't strike me as a $35 figure.

^ I'm in the opposite camp. Toxie was a legit shock reveal from SDCC. Definitely pre-ordering this guy. However, I'll be passing on this Voltron. I still have the Matty Collector Voltron figure and love it.

I’m with ludovicotek, I’m excited for Toxie. I had him as a kid, I love that he comes with the accessories.

Fan speculation seems to be that Super 7's TMNT line will be based on the Playmates toy line instead of any comic/movie/cartoon iteration - meaning each turtle with a different shade of green skin, and maybe toyline specific side characters too. That's what Pixel Dan was theorizing recently, as well as others. If that's the case, then I guess I'll be getting yet another group of TMNT figures. I was planning on passing on these if they were Super 7's own take on the 80s cartoon turtles since NECA's is good enough for me, but a line based specifically on how the figures looked in the Playmantes line could be cool.

Definitely have to preorder that Toxie figure. It brings back so many memories.

My only critique on it is it needs the toxic spay splatter on his pants. I distinctly remember my Playmates figure having that on him. Something they can still easily add.

Too simplified for me. $15 to $20, yes. $25+? Pass.

toxic avenger looks cool, but not for 35 bucks. its a retooled he-man. i think the tmnt line will be good, if they do all new sculpts and not reuse he-man stuff

With them having the Ren and Stimpy license, I do hope they make a MOTU classics style Powdered Toast Man like this Toxie.

I have that vinyl Voltron and I think it looks a little bit better than this...but that's not really an action figure anyway. It's more of vinyl statue with the added novelty of articulation that doesn't really do much(it's all swivels). This one seems like it has basic action figure articulation...other than the knees, which maybe havent been keyed in yet. Also not a fan of the white torso and face like in the cartoon. I like when they're silver-ish like the 80s toys.

Lots of good points....

$35? Ouch. it does look like a 25er.
It might be a business thing. Maybe they are making a small amount and charging a higher price to compensate, I can accept that.
I'd rather them make it for $35, than not make it at all for a total of $0 and sadness.

Will I bite the bullet? Yeah...playmates was on fire back then...If super7 does playmates tmnt? I'll buy everything.
Same for Toxic. That 90's line is amazing. I think they know that.

SOME SPATTER TOO! Somebody mentioned that

Not only is it $35, but it's around $15 for shipping too.

Well, I finally got my notice from BBTS that Toxie is in my POL. And I just shipped what I had sitting in there yesterday. Been waiting for this guy too long though.

Same here, I got shit. I live in San Diego and I went to their store on July 2nd and bought the Toxie there since I figured to get it a little early. I didn't think I'd still be waiting 2 months longer for it to hit BBTS.

I have Ren and Stimpy on PO too and I've seen they're released in China but I'm not expecting them at BBTS until November at this rate.
