I swear they said they were improving the headsculpts after they showed off the first one, but I don't see it here. This also seems like a pretty deep cut for an outfit. Not really into wrestling now but was when I was younger. I might buy the first one and a later WWF unitard look if they make one.

What the point of doing this?, Will there be other wrestlers. I'm guessing not.

I saw the pic on facebook and had no idea who it was supposed to be until coming here and seeing it called Andre the Giant. LJN did a better Andre head sculpt almost 40yrs ago.

I don't see Andre the Giant at all. It's just some weird Wal-Mart shopper who lost his pants.

He looks more like an 80's arcade game knock off of Andre. Like Alan The Empire from The Main Event.

Alls I see is Jeff Garlin, it looks like the dad from the Goldbergs in an Andre the Giant Halloween costume. I cannot unseen Jeff Garlin in this sculpt.

Yeah, this just looks terrible. I'm guessing the first one still sold well enough to justify this 2nd version, but I still don't understand this narrow focus on doing this one particular wrestler instead of a whole line. Is Brian Flynn just a big fan of Andre? I'd support an Ultimates line of a full 1980s era roster of wrestlers if they were to do that in the spirit of the 1980s LJN line.

Hilarious.....agreed on all counts. This face sculpt doesn't look anything like Andre the Giant.

They've gotta contract with every single one of them, they probably got Andre and just went with it. I'm going to get one to support it b/c I love Andre, but I personally would rather another company actually tackle the classic wrestlers in a great way, but the stuff that's on store shelves really doesn't look all that bad in comparison to this at half the price.

Andre transcended pro wrestling during the 70s and early 80s, he was a bit of a household name so I think he is appropriate for a one-off figure. Much like Storm has done for Hogan, Tyson and Ali. An ultimates line of golden era wrestlers would be cool tho.

Also, I think Mattel does a great job with their WWE line and you can kind of piecemeal a LJN-inspired roster if you wanted to (I'm doing that myself). And actually they just released a Jake the Snake in his LJN attire, so I'm sure they are aware that people want the LJN homages.

Yeah no real improvement from previous versions. Super7 is usually good about listening to customer criticism. I will just wait when Mattel works on an Ultimates version, probably have to wait a few years (think 3-5) for the Big Show to "semi-retire"/inducted to HOF (make their money on reuse of a mold). Or maybe see if McFarlane does a Fezzik for Princess Bride. Andre was iconic for sure.
