Nice pics. Love the colors. Wondering how this guy compares to Mattel's Blazing Sword Voltron.

Nice set. Looks well done, good piece for those that just want a little Voltron rep on the shelves without going too big/expensive.

Really similar. Hips on the Blazing Sword version were better. But I like the proportions and colors more on the Super7 version. I don’t have the Blazing Sword in-hand, but it’s a bit taller than the Super7 one.

Cool. Thanks for the response. I have the blazing sword and like it for what it is. As Tony said, a little Voltron rep for the shelf. But something about this one just looks good to me. It’s a little rounder, if that makes sense.

If the hips can only move forward and back, that's just crappy. I mean, there has to have been a way to introduce some increased articulation there. I don't think that's too much to ask if it's not transforming like you said.

Not a fan of the gray paint. I prefer Mattel's version as that looked anime accurate. This just looks, I don't know, but it seems to be lacking articulation despite being repaint.

Still waiting on BBTS to get my pre-order in stock. The original date was February of this year.

So am I. I’ve never had an issue with bbts. Ever. But I’m a bit worried on my super7 items. I have seen no movement on voltron, toxic crusader, ren and stimpy and I’m nervous about the Conan, turtles and thundercats I have through them. Does it usually take this long?

I had a large order from BBTS go missing this year. I chased for months and they finally refunded me about 4 months after it was sent.

I have never had an issue with BBTS, but Super7 will be the one at fault if BBTS does not get their stock in (the item will go in my POL once it arrives). I know Super7 releases are always later than anticipated but going on over 6 months is pushing it. I wouldn't be so irritated if it wasn't for the fact other stores are getting their stock in. It looks like the Voltron store even has the item in stock already:

I opened this figure, moved him around, packed him back up and put him back in the box.
I've never done that before. I don't know about this one, I just don't. |
