I voted for Jyn!
I'd prefer a Tusken Raider option though.

The Archive series is for re-releases.

Ahsoka Tano has actually been found in Gamestop computers as an upcoming re-release, so that's even more evidence these fan polls are bullshit.

Jango Fett, Qui Gon Jin, and Jyn Erso are the only reasonable picks.
Since Clone Wars ended, Cody and the 501st Trooper should be getting re-released anyways to capitalize on the series. Listings for the previous BS Rebels figures have shown up in Gamestop computers (along with a deluxe Zeb!) so Ahsoka is already getting a re-release. Greedo peg warmed horribly and he was re-released in a 2 pack with ANH Han. Plus he wouldn't benefit from the faceprinting. As for the two Leia's and ROTS Obi Wan, the figures are just plain bad and would actually benefit from having NEW figures made. Same with ROTS Anakin. Both of those figures are outclassed by the newer Prequel era Jedi figures like Mace Windu and TPM Obi Wan. |

I voted for slave Leia... as she is the only figure I dont have here but really want! I wouldnt mind if ROTS Obi Wan won. I have the original figure and that painted face is easily the WORST of any BS figure. If Qui Gon gets picked I will buy it, but the original figure wasnt that bad. The painted Qui Gon is 100% better than the aweful ROTS Obi Wan paint.

Is the original Ashoka figure hard to find? Bcs the original Ashoka BS figure was a really good figure and doesnt need any work. Its fine the way it is.

At this point it's hard to find by virtue of age but even when it was new she was generally quick to disappear. The original release did have major paint inconsistencies that an Archive release would fix, I only ever saw like 5 Ahsoka figures but only two of them had clean paint while the others suffered from significant smearing or just general messiness on her face.

If they do Jyn, they'd better give us updated face-printed Cassian, Baze, Chirrut, and Krennic, and finally give us a Bodhi and maybe a Saw to round out the major cast. I want Rogue One figures that I'm not sticking at the very back of my shelf to hide their subpar face paint.

I'm going to be switching my votes back and forth between ROTS Obi-wan and Qui-gon. If the Qui-gon wins, I plan on getting the PM Obi-wan.

I know the looks are very similar but I'd rather get a new figure based on Jyn's Scarif outfit than a redo of her Jedha outfit.

How does anyone know that Leia killed Jabba, though? Everyone who could potentially have witnessed it would have been incinerated/vivisected when the sail barge exploded...

It didn't help that Greedo came out before we even had a Darth Vader, maybe somebody at Hasbro just really liked Greedo. I remember Greedo and Leia pegwarmed so hard until Disney announced the whole "retirement" of merchandising that look and suddenly the Leias were all scooped up while the online price went from $10 to no less than $40, I guess Greedo wound up at the discount stores. Anyway, it has been a good stretch of time now so re-releasing Greedo makes a degree of sense.

Instead of re-releasing the whole figure they should just sell all the redone face printed heads in one giant multi-pack.

That would be of no benefit to the people who missed the figures in the first place. Also the heads on most of the black series figures are weirdly hard to pop off, probably because most figures don't share parts so there's no benefit to easily removed heads.

And the Vader they originally gave us wasn't even that good! He had that weird removable helmet that somehow was really off-model, it made him look like he had puppy-dog eyes

Maybe they were hustling us all along so that when they released the 40th anniversary/Rogue One Vader a few years ago we'd be doubly impressed. For real though their first Vader's helmet was disappointing, I mean it was still obviously Darth Vader but notably bloated.

I voted for "Huttslayer" (Is Layer of Hutts better than Slave?) Leia.
Who the hell asked for Greeodo? I'm pretty sure you can walk into Walmart right now and still buy Greedo. |

Greedo's perfect for Archive series. He's running like $40+ now. Think a lotta folks ended up scooping multiples of him up for custom fodder to diversify their random jedi knights and background characters, etc. Could hardly sell him for $15 2 years ago though lulz.
