Wow, one Godzilla toy reveal, which isn't going to be out another 6+ months, the first reveal in over a year, I might add, and it is one that MonsterArts is already doing. I give up.

Awww man I'm so grabbing those Ā¼ scale TMNT's really smart of Neca to release a character per quarter knowing the fact that those size figures they release run around $100 a piece that should give customers more time to save their money to be able to afford them rather than spending $400 at once for all 4 turtles if they were to release at once... Hell yes!!!!

Which ones haven't been done by SH yet? I know NECA has made '54 and '84 figures that they haven't but SH has done '64 and 2000. Also a lot of suits are generally the same thing like the main Heisei look was pretty constant.
Quarter-scale figures are generally around $100, it depends on the size whether they're higher.

Fully articulated figure (about 25 points I believe). About 15.5" tall. One of, apparently, many more to come. I know we'll get the Turtles, but if they can fit in a Shredder, I'll be stoked!

Agreed. 15+ inches is a bit big. With all these offerings now of 90s movie turtles, I'm hoping someone, Hot Toys please, does 1/6 scale.

So excited for Clubber Lang! And Ultimate Tech Noir Terminator ended up being everything I hoped it would be.

Well, it's a 1/4 scale figure, which they go for when they can't get a smaller size license. You're best bet at 1990 movie 1/6 scale may be either ThreeZero or Mondo.

Whihc ones aren't made in MonsterArts form yet?
54, 55, 62, 65/66, 67, 68/69/71/72, 73/74/75, 84, 89/91, 00, 02/03, and 04. Oh, and technically they never did a movie 2000 suit, they only did one based on the original concept design. NECA should have done either 02, 68, and 89. Yeah the 2002 suit would've been cool to see. I think the '68 suit is one of the "too silly to want a toy of" suits for most any average buyer. The '89 suit was a great suit/look but I think it would've been too close to their Heisei suit (they labeled it as the SpaceGodzilla suit but it really looks like a conglomerate mix of the various Heisei suits). For me the 2001 look is a great choice because it's a different look than any of their other figures and offers a more reasonably priced option since I still can't justify over $40 for a 6" toy.

Calling it now, they're just gonna be re-releases with all possible accessories this time around and alternate heads. The series 8 Jungle Hunter is still an awesome toy on par with most any other ultimate figure and the City Hunter they've been using since like series 4 or 5 is also great. They'd just give each one all accessories since before the accessories were divided among multiple releases/repaints. They don't need ab-crunches or any added articulation like the AVP bucks because they already have a winning formula.

Well I think the main goal of these is basically to be a redistribution since the City Hunter and Jungle figures go for quite the penny on the after market and a lot of people have been asking for re-releases since a lot of people only recently joined the line.

I am psyched about NECA's "Ultimate" Part 3 Jason. This was previously released as two separate figures - a "clean" one and a blood-covered "battle damaged" one - and this new release includes swappable heads and masks so you can have either figure. Great news for me, as I've always wanted the battle damaged one but there was no fucking way I was paying ebay prices for it (I bet those guys are pissed, lol).

Pretty excited to see another wave of HoTS from NECA, the question is when.
It seems some people are upset HoTS toys are favoring more of WoW than the other 2 franchises. I personally would love to see more Diablo characters but I don't mind Warcraft since that's pretty much sums up about majority of my teenage hood. Makes me wonder if they would ever do variations like Maybe a Demon Form Illidan or Judgement gear Uther but that's just me daydreaming. At least we're getting the bulky Diablo even though I liked D3's Diablo as well. |

Spiked Tail, if I'm reading you right, is the one with the gold armor and the mouth piece. For a long time people would try to make the argument that the original Kenner Spiked Tail was supposed to be female but it was never that convincing by evidence. I love that someone on Twitter said NECA's Spiked Tail looks like the Quake predator, they've got a point. I find myself surprised by Spiked Tail both because I was unsure they would tackle the weirdest Kenner figure and because I really want it!

They're doing a creature pack. They actually just teased it on Twitter as potentially being the Queen facehugger, two chestbursters, a regular facehugger, a facehugger in a jar, and the Queenburster.

If Neca does a 1/4 movie Shredder, I would consider just getting that and not the 4 turtles; save them for a 1/6 scale.
